took him over the summer and was cake, 3 hrs classes did drag, only the quizzes make up your grade, and they do get a bit overly specific and nit picky. i actually did better on a quiz on material i thought myself than he lectured in class, enough said and said ughhh every other word, would stop every other min for a 20 min video taking 1 hr

Comment:

Very nice guy but talks a lot about unrelated topics, amusing stories, etc. Will go off on a tangent for far too long when there is a great deal of material to cover. Luckily, he allows you to use notes for tests and, if you read the text, you're golden. I easily pulled off an 'A'.

Everyone says he's kind of a weird guy, but I really like him. He is very enthusiastic about what he teaches and his stories are so helpful (and funny). His cheat sheets are a godsend. He may not be the best speaker, but he is a very good teacher and a nice guy. LOVE his class.

He's enthusiastic about very knowledgeable about psychology. He's also very helpful. If you read the texts and listen to him you'll wind up with an A. not a difficult class. id take him again

Class was easy. Study sheets for every test. He's really weird and boring and talks too much. Also, you can't contact him by e-mail because he doesn't respond. He also is a terrible speaker. I kind of feel bad for the guy. Oh, and he is NOT hot. Make sure u do the 2 credits of study lab because he doesn't remind you throughout the the semester!

Kind of boring guy, but classes aren't mandatory, no midterm, and there's 6 quizzes total. Your lowest quiz grade is dropped. The class is lecture-style, very little participation, and you watch Zimbardo's videos for half the class. The quizzes are kind of hard but there's no reason for you to do badly if you make study guides, which you get to use

He is an odd person. However, his class was very interesting with his stories. Tests are a little hard, but you get a study sheet. A lot of reading. If you do the work and hs extra credits, you will get an A. I would definitely recommend him!

He's a nice guy but classes are usually pointless. you either watch movies or just copy powerpoints straight from the book. he lets you being "study sheets" to tests but his questions are really hard. If you don't read the text you won't do well because his lectures don't teach you a whole lot.

Boring. Very nice teacher, tells somewhat interesting stories in class but the videos are painful sometimes. Powerpoint notes and he lets you bring a study sheet to the exam. Don't take him if you don't do well on multiple choice tests.

Dr. Blendell is a good teacher -- the class was definitely interesting and fun to be in. Tests can get a little tricky, but overall, the class was really good! He's very bad at remembering due dates and reminders however.

he is hilarious, made me crack up during every class. "quizzes" are incredibly easy as long as you read the book (which is fun to read in itself) and write down everything (whether or not it seems important) on the "study sheet". highly recommend him.
