Very clear on course guidelines and maintains them. Focuses on application of subject material, rather than regurgitating terms for a multiple choice exams. Exams and projects involve critical thinking skills. Very passionate about her field, and very very smart.

Fantastic. Makes sense, is easy to communicate with as she is very understanding and friendly. Hates cellphones in class and use of computers while she is instructing, but she is a cool Gal. Take her class, listen to what she says, she's good!

Dr. Manning might have been the best professors I've ever had. She really understands the students and how they have a life outside of class. If all the professors at JCU were like Dr. Manning, the world would be a better place. Seriously, you need to take her!

I hope no one has to deal with this woman! She is rude to students,and has no desire to help you with problems; whether it be scheduling or professor/counselor issues, even general questions - and she is the "head" of her department. Good luck!
