I had O'Gara for FYS and loved her. I thought I would dislike the class because of the topic but I loved it. She is super accommodating and understanding. I would 1000% take her class again.

There are 4 papers and 4 exams per semester with one very short hw assignment each week. Mrs. OGara is extremely caring, easy going, and a great teacher. I learned a lot while enjoying interesting class discussions.

Comment:

Great teacher. Class is always a group discussion, give minimal effort and show up and it is an easy A. School aside, she is a great person and cares a-lot about her students. No quizes or tests with three discussion boards for the semester.

I absolutely adore her. She's an amazing teacher. Very caring and understanding. Daily in class discussions, and writing quizzes. But writing quizzes are super easy, just two questions on your reading that was assigned the night before. Discussions boards are once in a while. A few easy group projects. There is a midterm paper and a final project.

She is the absolute sweetest woman. Every class is basically just a class discussion about a current issue and the conversations were very interesting and informative. She assigns readings almost every class but they are usually very short articles that are interesting as well. I would recommend her to anybody!

She is the easiest professor I have had so far. She is very sweet too and makes the class very interesting. We did have to read a lot of articles and write a little something about it once in class but that is very easy. Midterm paper, group final project, no tests. Easy A for sure

Had her for politics of rebellion (terrorism/FYS ). She is really nice and kind. All you do is show up to class and talk and you get an A. The discussions are not that interesting and she often goes off topic. You have to write 1 paper and do a little bit of reading.

I took O'Gara for Politics of Rebellion (my Freshman Seminar). The class is based on participation, but she understands that some people aren't comfortable with class participation, so she doesn't mark you down for it. The work is pretty easy. Love this class, it was really interesting. 10/10 would recommend!

She was the best teacher I had for freshman seminar; Politics of Rebellion. She made the class very interesting and fun! Her homework were easy and we only had to write two papers, one for the midterm and one for the final. Easy A!

She is wonderful! extremly nice, kind and helpful. She would literally do anything to help the students. Probably the nicest professor that you would ever get. Just do all the work, take the exams and you will be guaranteed an easy A. The exams are straightforward from the lectures, the lectures are very brief and short.
