Professor Wallace is fantastic. Her knowledge of the subject and the way she drives the class to discussion made the Ethics and Leadership class very interesting. I liked especially the fact we discussed real issues nowadays in business.

Dr. Wallace is the best philosophy professor I've ever had. She keeps all lectures so engaging and the assignments actually enhance comprehension of difficult subject matter and are not merely busy work. She is a very fair grader and is always available to help you. Would 100% recommend!

Comment:

Does not allow you to use any technology at all during class. Makes you print out 20 page readings of Plato, Epicurus, and so on. They're extremely lengthy & impossibly hard to read, yet she expects descriptive papers to regurgitate exactly what the philosophers are rambling about. Very hard grader. Boring and redundant lectures. Do not recommend.

Stern, hard teacher for C&E. Discussions take most of the class and are engaging, but it depends on your classmates. She likes to direct the discussion and takes sides sometimes. The course is based more on the lectures than the books. She assigns a short paper every week. The trick to getting As is listen to her in class, otherwise it's hopeless.

Awful teacher. She treats her classes like we are all about 5, but grades ridiculously hard. The content is confusing and really doesn't have anything to do with anything. The tests are pretty all over the place and moderately difficult. Even if you show up for class, it is likely that you'll leave very confused.

Nice person but BORING class. do not rec. her for an elective. very strict grader, takes points off for stupid reasons, I always get A's and B's and got a C with her. also the quiz and readings were ridiculously hard.

She is tough,and in the beginning, you strongly dislike her. However, she grows on you. Go to her office hours and ask for help! She isn't going to spoon feed you a good grade, but it is possible if you work for it.

Shes a nice woman but shes awful as a teacher. Her quiz questions r so convoluted and her grammar is****ndous which makes it even harder to answer her q's much less understand them. U think u do well but end up getting a C for the most miniscule and messed up reasons. I can not recommend enough that u do wtvr u can to avoid taking her clasd

She is very helpful, workload is easy, readings aren't even mandatory because she goes over them so many times in class. Group work a LOT, which is helpful/easy. She is a sweet woman, who is very willing to help if you ask. Overall, good class. Attendance mandatory though.

She is a boring teacher but very reasonable. The work load is very manageable and little studying is needed for the quizzes. She works with students and gives lots of extra credit. Participate in class and she'll love you. Not the most interesting class but she is a good teacher

Professor Wallace is a very helpful professor. Class is mandatory but everything your learn in class is on the quizzes (that are open book) they are difficult but she offers extra credit throughout the semester. I would recommend taking this professor she is a great person and will do anything she can to help you get a good grade.

The class is hard but Wallace does the best she can. Quizzes and test are difficult and you can't really study for them... but the ones the class does poorly on she lets you work in groups to make up some of the points. I would recommend taking her if you have to take ethics.

Shes a good prof n a really good person. Really helpful, but had a monotone voice. Itll get boring and its an Ethics class so it was hard, but she will really help you out. Not impossible to get a good grade. She gives extra credit. If youre willing to put in the time def take the class, but onli if your interested in the class. Knows her stuff.

im taking her now and she's very good if you can get into the subject, but if you can care less about ethics you might hate the class. Participate, read all the readings, and get involved in every discussion. A lot of people get bored by her so if you fall asleep the first few classes read and just bring a pillow to class.

Very knowlegeable and really nice especially if she sees that you are trying. She does her best to make a boring subject interesting. Required for business majors, take Prof. Wallace. Mandatory attendance, but its not a bad class.

WOW. This professor was borderline horrible. Don't take this class unless you are really interested in asking questions about the meaning of life and free will and so on and so forth. There are a lot of discussions and questions asked, but all we did was make fun of her.

I really liked her and the class. As long as you participate in class and pay a decent amount of attention, she'll like you, and if she likes you, she'll give you a better grade on your papers. If you speak intelligently in class, she'll give you the benefit of the doubt on papers. Exams are kinda hard, but she can be really nice.

i dreaded her class everytime. she loves to hear herself talk- about logic. and yet much of what she says is illogical. verry tough grader. she thinks her interpretation of a text is the only correct interpretation. and i know it's petty, but she needs to explore colors other than black for her wardrobe.

She is a very good professor and knows her stuff. Be prepared and do ALL the readings she will go over it. The subject is boring but she knows it like the back of her hand. Even though she gives open book test they are still hard, Her exam questions are very detailed and expects your answers to be as well. DO NOT miss a class you will miss alot
