Worst teacher for A&P, Came off rude on the first day to students. Although we were going through COVID-19 she did not want people to be absent. Tough grader, misspell a word? She will count that wrong. I had to drop that class due to anxiety. Highly recommend you do not take her class if you need A&P. Know 3 people that have dropped her class.

This class is boring, and it's a bear of a course. I broke it up into 2 semesters. I had Ms. Gifford both times. There are a ton of quizzes, a ton of tests but if you're prepared, you'll do well. Ms. Gifford genuinely cares, and she gives you every opportunity to succeed. 10/10 would take another class of hers.

Love her, she is a great teacher and knows what she is talking about. Lots of quizzes and tests but as long as you show up and pay attention you will get a good grade. She is fast in grading and always willing to help.

Overall an excellent professor, but she is hard to get used to and a picky grader. Very monotone, but she gives you absolutely everything you need to know for exams in the study guides. Be on time and pay attention throughout class. Very doable teacher, but be ready to put LOTS of time outside of class dedicated to passing A&P.

Part lecture, part lab. Tests questions come from handouts. Attendance and being ON TIME are also mandatory for this class. A&P is not easy, but if you set your mind to it and actually put in work, you will pass. Miss Gifford is a very dedicated educator and I will definitely try to take her class again for A&P II.

Hard class; but doable. You have to want it. Make flashcards from the handouts she gives & have plenty of time to study. I studied like this: 1 hr studying 2x per week, 2 hrs studying 2x per week, 3 hrs once week (this was flashcard making day for me.) Some weeks required more intense studying. Don't be lazy; you'll flunk hard. A's ARE possible!!

She is an excellent teacher. Everything you need to know for the tests are in the study guides and almost everything you need for the study guide is in the power point. You have to work in this class but it is a difficult subject. She gives you everything you need if you are willing to learn.

It is true that Kathy Gifford comes off as rude, but I don't believe she really is, she just comes off that way. She's very committed to her students, especially those who give it their all. She knows her stuff in and out, too. She's kind of monotone, so listening to lecture can be hard, but she is capable and knowledgeable.

Its kind of hard to say Ms. Gifford is hard, I think its the class just itself is hard (Anatomy and Physiology). Lots to learn, but Ms. Gifford knows her stuff. You do have to work hard to get a good grade but if you get a good one you know you earned it! Practicals can be scary but if you really look at the stuff in lab that helps.

a/p:She is by far the worst science teacher I have ever had. She is vague in her instruction & rude when answering questions. She is hateful & belittling. I was very disappointed in her as an instructor. Her passion for the subject is more than lacking. It's easy to make a good grade as long as you purely memorize the definitions & turn in your wor

I actually really liked her. Right, the class is super hard with lots of work, but in the end, you come out knowing so much about the body. My class only had 5 people in it too. We had more 1 on 1 time and time to ask questions. If you take her class, get the class with the LEAST people!

If you want an A, here's how: Make the journey to El Dorado, because that's only where she teaches;Show up to class everyday;Spend at LEAST 3 hours of studying/day;Live in the lab;Study EVERYTHING!She not only lectures &assigned reading, but she also tests over worksheets. All in all, she's a person who knows her stuff, but you'll never be able to fi

I thought that she was a terrible teacher. If you like to be your own teacher and have plenty of time to TEACH YOURSELF. Then this would be a great class. Don't expect her to answer any of your questions, you might be made fun of
