Really laid back. Make sure you write down the main ideas for all the topics he talks about in his Religion & Evolution class. Nice guy and just cares about what you think in the class. Discussion and participation are key, so speak your mind!

Not TOO much reading to do. His papers are reasonable, but he takes forever to decide the topic question. If you take Evolution & Religion with him, make sure that you write down (throughout semester) how specific pieces of text made you think bc then you can use that to write your paper. He's a kind person; rambles a bit. Doable class.

If you read the book you will definitely get the questions he chooses for his portion of the exam right. His lecture style is very entertaining, though not to the point. He is a funny man. The questions he chose for his portion of the exam are pretty easy, especially if you pay attention and read both the article and the book.

Dr. Kelso is the man. I love him. He did not give out a single question-based exam. We basically had to write a couple papers at home, and read material that we would discuss in class. You could easily get an A by just completing all the assignments with medium effort, and make sure to just participate in class discussions. He is the nicest professor I have ever had.

Prof Kelso if GREAT! His lectures were a bit boring but easy to understand and he was always willing to talk about anything science after class. I rarely opened the book and just went to lecture and got A's or B's on the tests. All you have to do is show a little effort like you actually care about the class and you will do just fine.

Prof. Kelso was not a gd teacher, he was always half-prepared too most lectures and his tests were worded oddly (it was hard understanding what we had to answer, let alone apply what we taught ourselves to answer the actual question). Yes, labs are easy, but keep in mind that tests are worth most of your grade :-/ not recommended..

Seemed really boring at first. You should skim the chapter before going to lecture if you want to know what is going on. He's really helpful outside of class. Just study his notes online and memorize the figures he tells you to. Easy A.

he makes the class hard. Class has tons of info and lots and lots of details. The tests are hard, average was 60% on 4 of the 5 exams. I learned little from him. TAKE MUELLER-->BETTER AND MORE EFFICIENT PROFESSOR.

I liked Kelso a lot. I previously hated bio, but he made it very understandable and almost enjoyable. I didn't have any problems at all with his exams and I only studied minimally. Labs are SUPER EASY. Just go to his review sessions and you'll be fine for his exams.

His lectures are a bit confusing & half of the time he doesn't know what he is talking about. At least he tells you when he doesn't know what he is talking about. His test have bad grammar & you probably won't know what he is talking about, but if you study his notes and read the text book you can get an A. plus the class is curved from the get go.
