Gives little instruction that helps one learn material. Will often discriminate against students she dose not seem to care for(i.e. grading unfairly & not giving enough attention). Will give directions to do one thing, when grading mark it wrong. No modeling. Doesn't respect workload from other classes, appears to think her class is only class

Horrible teacher, rude, degrading, boring and unfair. She only passed her favorite students and even though she liked me I still thought it was unfair to my classmates. Of all my professors at JCU this was the worst and every minute in the class was a tedious waste of time.

Condescending, unclear, closed minded, stubborn... All of these and many more adjectives describe this professor. Work load is ridiculous and she thinks her's is the only class you should have work for. Avoid at all cost.

This is the worst professor I had at JCU. She told me that I would be a disgrace to the profession if I continued in the ED dept. She told me to drop her class and drop out of the department-she made me cry in front of the whole class!! She makes fun of your stupidity

She wasn't THAT bad, she was always nice to me, but she never really answered my questions nor explained what exactly we were doing, and big projects were worth very few points while quizzes were equal to big projects. Ended up with an OK grade, but not really what I would have wanted...

Dr. Roskos is a very knowledgable teacher, with a lot of different instruction ideas. However, all that is wasted on her students because she is completely insane and the workload is immeasurable. The projects are worth the same as quizes, but take 10x as long to accomplish. Better to drop out.

Worst teacher ever...ever! She's mean, she doesn't make assignments clear and then mocks you for not understanding them. She grades really hard (people fail her take home tests) and it completely unhelpful. AVOID

I don't understand why this professor is still teaching at John Carroll. I tried to give her a chance but it seems she is deliberately unclear and rude, and gives a ridiculous number of useless assignments. I recommend avoiding her at all costs, it is not worth it.

Without a doubt the worst teacher I have ever had. Unclear about assignments, no rubrics. Gives further intruction retroactively (after assignments are graded) without any chance to improve your work. Avoid at all costs. Mean and condescending She seems to honestly enjoy confusing her students.

I certainly DONT mind doing a lot of work or working hard; however, she was unclear and spoke to her students in a demeaning manner. She was unclear with respect to instruction and she was not open to ideas outside of her realm of thought.

She is the worst professor I have ever had. Her assignments are always unclear as are her directions for them. Her grading system is illogical. She expects you to do 12 hour long projects that are only worth 1% of your grade.

If this class was not part of my program, I would drop it - horrible class, horrible teacher. She treats us like third graders and is very unclear on assignments (most of us got F's on our first two papers) - AVOID!

Dr. Roskos is rude and condescending. She talks down to us and teaches incorrect information. She should NOT be teaching this course (or any other for that matter.) She is very inclear about her assignments and has revised the syllabus FOUR times.

i had her six years ago while taking masters courses. she's one of the worst profs i've ever come across and seems to enjoy having students do tons of meaningless work. avoid her at all costs
