John Carroll University allow students to grade professors at end of each semester. I wish the administration would honestly take time to read these reviews. Then retire those professors who have grown complacent and burned out. Students pay too much money to attend John Carroll University just to drop out or fail a class due to a bad instructor.

TK has been in the teaching business for a long time. He makes you work hard, and if you follow and humor the quirks you will get through the classes. Down the road, you won't really remember anything inspirational from his sessions.

Disgusting professor continuously rattles off without making pertinent points of value. Life jacket wearer holding on to his job at university forever without drowning!! Please end his self-important reign and release him for the sake of future teachers. All in all, a serious waste of time and money!!

Tom Kelly plays favorites! Day 1 of class he fake smiles the entire time & pretends 2 like every comment by every person. He is so artificial! Then he clearly starts weeding out his favorites and treats the one's he dislikes like crap; stops calling on you to answer, doesn't look at you, & throws out rude comments & makes clear he doesn't like U !

TK is the best professor I have had to JCU. He is so understanding, patient and motivating. Yes, at times he can ramble and I find myself not knowing what he is talking about, but he will clarify any questions you have and let you redo work to help your grade. He will meet with you anytime you need to talk. He is the BEST!

He rambles on about nothing. He does not prepare you at all for what teaching will REALLY be like. He's stuck in a perfect world as far as what student teacher relationships are like. And as far as searching for a job, expect nothing from him in this department. He will give some insight into interviews but no help whatsoever in the job search.

Has a problem making himself understood. Handed out an assignment to a class of 13, only 2 did it to his liking. The 2 students who did the assignment correctly, were already professional teachers. Everyone else had to redo over and over until it was EXACTLY the way he wanted it. Does not know how to communicate with others, very self-important

This man turned me away from teaching. Can't answer questions without whispering and treating you like a 5-yr-old. WAYYY too idealistic and won't talk the facts about the profession. I still know nothing about what it's like to be a teacher. And be prepared for an ungodly amount of essays and projects.

OMG...He is keeping 20% of the class from getting thier licenses because he is making them re-do these two projects that are absolutely horrible. Says "clarify" 5 billion times which does not help, but just pisses you off... You are stuck taking him for AYA or multiage, so good luck to you!

Wow, this class is a complete waste of anyone's time. Dr. Kelly just makes it worse by using the ENTIRE 2 hours rambling about nothing. He's a nice guy, but dull, extremely long-winded, and talks to you as if you were a retarded 5 year old. Don't waste your time, if at all possible.

That guy is wacked. He plays favorites, he never gives a straight answer, and God help you if you need any reassurance because he is not very supportive. I received no helpful guidance, and all of his classes consist of students talking about their day- literally. You won't learn anything here.
