Dr. Shomper is amazing. He truly cares about the success and well being of his students. He is very concise and explains concepts in ways that are simple and easy to understand. He is also a funny guy, and jokes around a bit. Cedarville is lucky to have Dr. Shomper, so try to get to know him if your'e fortunate enough to take any of his classes!

Very good professor, willing to help but very cryptic in his lectures and with what help he gives. Interested in students learning the basics of programming with C++ but wants you to take responsibility for learning the material which can be difficult to understand. Assignments are very time consuming but help you learn whats going on in class.

Good teacher and is available to help students when they need it, but he can sometimes be a little cryptic in his lectures. If you read the text beforehand it's not bad at all though.

An AWSOME prof. He is more than happy to meet with you outside of class if you have trouble and does a good job of explaining. Yes, he does assign a lot of homework, but you're learning to code, and the best way to learn to code, is to write code!

Comment:
He knows his material well. He allows a great deal of improvization. However, his class is high maintence. His assignments are vague and often updated or altered at the last minute. But if you have time, it is an easy A.
