His exams are tricky even though you might think its easy. Bad thing about him is that he doesn't give back exam questions and will not go over it in class or with you for you to know what you are getting right or wrong. He spoilt my Gpa this semester. If you must avoid the class please do! I wish I knew on to e before taking him.

Useless when it comes to contacting, and getting help. You can't find him ever on campus, sometimes I don't think he works there anymore. And I had to go to the head of the dept to have him email me after months of no response.

I've had a lot of professors at Rutgers-Newark and I can say that Dr. Kressel is one of the best! He's interesting, friendly, knowledgeable, and an all-around nice guy! Take his class!

Good professor who insists on using exercies to get the material through. However, the exams go deeper than the exercises so reading the text is really helpful. Exams are easy. Study Book doesn't really help as much. Don't waste your money on it.

Plays favorites. Grades unfairly. May screw up your final grade even if you attend/participate in his class religiously & get A's in exams. To think that it wasn't even a difficult course. You'd be better off w/ a more interesting professor who'll give an easy A. Most boring I've ever had.

Exams are straight forward. He's into what he's teaching and seems to enjoy his job. Uses in-class activities and films to demonstrate ideas and theories.

not a bad teacher. lecture's mostly boring, although he tries to do lots of group activities-they're boring. tests were easy when he was the one making them instead of his head TA.
