Dr. Wear is never clear about her expectations and is hard to meet with out of class. I would schedule appointments and she would cancel. She could not make time for me to meet about a project, and therefore I did not have the specifics necessary for the project.

Dr. Wear is such an awesome person. She is always there to help. You need to study a decent amount for tests but it is worth it.

This is my second class with Dr. Wear. She knows her stuff. She's a tough teacher, but for a good reason. Research methods was tough but that's with any teacher. She gives great feedback and is always there for her students. But she definitely doesn't tolerate laziness.

I did not want to take cog at first, but she made it really great. I loved the class and I love her as a prof. She did a fantastic job, and I am going to miss her when I graduate. She really loves her students.

Dr Wear was always supportive of my education. I reached out to her for advice and knowledge many times outside of class and always got great feedback. She's tough for sure and wants to see you connecting ideas not just memorizing. Some students found it hard to keep up but I loved it!

I would not buy the Stat book if I could have avoided it. She gives a very helpful little orange book with step-by-step rules and examples. Very helpful and knows a lot. Understanding about what we should memorize and what we should use notes for. Overall good teacher. I enjoyed the class.

I was dreading Stats and she helped me through it. Very clear and thorough BUT I don't think she is interested in getting to know her students on a personal level which isn't very HPU. However I like her as a teacher and told her the end of the semester that with any other professor I might not have made it through all that new information.

She was the worst professor I've ever had. Very childish, self centered and self absorbed. Unable to relate to or teach adult students (I'm EDP). Has a serious inferiority complex. Selfish, spoiled and obsessed with her cat! I switched my major because of her. I will NEVER take another class that she teaches. Horrible, horrible horrible!

Never used my textbook! I dont even take notes in class because she posts them online - but she is still a good teacher. She makes really boring stuff interesting. I would suggest to take this class!

I believe this was Dr. Wear's first on line class. I found it uninteresting and difficult to engage. She seemed content not interracting with the students and made little effort to connect. When I went to extra effort to research topics, I got dinged. It seemed she only wanted me to regurgitate what was in her lectures.

she seems to be not very interested in helping her students at all. Shes very picky when it comes to writing topics. Shes always drinking her damn dr.peppers which is extremely distracting. She only teaches topics shes interested in.

Not one of the school's better teacher. Clasees lack interest and innovation. The tests she gave killed me (along with the rest of the class). Overall, a nice person, but would not want her again as a teacher. I think a different work environment would be better suited for her.

Boring. She sometimes sounds like a broken record. She LOVES Pavlov's dogs. She basically reads each chapter aloud in class, so there is really no point to pre-reading anything. Nice lady.........boring intro psy teacher...maybe in upper levels she's more interesting???
