Comment:

Everyday you take a quiz about the lesson that you learned the day before. Right after that he gives you the answers. Then you move onto the next lesson. If you have the packet he basically writes what's in the packet on to the board, which doesn't help you at all. His english isn't good. Can't ask him for help. He even said that there's no tutors.

Not a very good teacher.If you are the type of person that needs someone to clarify information this is not your teacher. He gives pop quiz's everyday but if you take good notes you should do fine. Math is not an easy subject to teach. Especially if it's a higher math level. Students should know that at that level, they are inclined to study harder. The class was hard but Mr. Chung was always there to help. I recommend him to serious students.

This professor is the worst teacher I've ever had in my life, doesn't speak english, doesn't explain anything. He literally just writes numbers on the board, without clarifying where they came from, and expects the class to know what he's doing. You never get the chance to ask questions, because he just mumbles into the board.

worst teachers Ive had,but his class is fairly easy to pass. Just do the hwmk and quizes, the tests are exactly like the quiz problems with different numbers. He can not teach, I had go to tutoring to pass his class. Strong accent.

I really enjoyed Mr.Chung's class. He uses his original textbook which saved me lots of money, and the explanation in the book is awesome. He gives us many practice opportunities before exam. If you do homework and assignment as what Mr.Chung tells us to follow, it's easy.

A bit hard to understande witht the accent he is a very cool guy. I hate math but I kept up with the work, studied and did well in the class. I learned how to use a calculator again after years without it. Grading policy is awesome since you get to try again if you fail an exam.

I admit his exam policy is pretty generous, he lets you retake for a better grade. The catch is he drops your grade by 20% even if you get 100% you would have an 80%.I was dissapointed in his teaching, he just does exact problems from homework,no other examples.u need to be really good @learning by urself,if not,take from some1else.cannot recommend

Horrible teacher. I couldn't understand what he was saying most of the time. The first quarter of the textbook was ok, but once we reached the probability section it spiraled downhill. He's really nice and all, and I'm sure he was a good teacher at one point, but not anymore.

I hate math but I really enjoyed his class. I mean what kind of teacher lets you take the exam again if you fail? Quizes occur every class and its open book! I mean if you can't handle that then you should re-think going to college. I reccommend him if you have an open mind and get a study buddy. Thanks Mr Chung!

If u know the trick u will pass his class math231 pretty easy...here is the trick, go to the libary copy solution manual all the hw he gave, bring it to class for quiz "his quiz is open note so u can use the solution manual to help u" i bet u will get A if u do that and put effort to study ur quiz because exam questions come from quizs. all people

Horrible Professor. He needs to retire already.Too old for teaching and is a little senile. I think he was hitting on me in class. Reminds me of a sexual predator on dateline.Someone should report him and force him into retirement

His approach in teaching is extremely hard to grasp. He feels that the students should be humble and accept they don't know the material simply to boost his ego-trip. This man is a horrible math teacher, i found myself teaching myself and eventually dropped the class. If you want to pass math 140 do NOT I repeat DO NOT!! take this instructor.
