Larry Harred is a great professor. Daily writing assignments keep students reading and interested in the material. He's clear about what he wants on tests and in papers. If he suggests an author to add to a paper's research, make sure to do so. If you do poorly, you probably didn't attend class or read the assigned readings.

He was very clear about how he wanted his papers written, the only homework was the readings and papers. Attendance wasn't mandatory but he gave daily assignments that couldn't be made up. Nice guy over all, answer questions and a fair paper grader.

I'm pretty sure he eats people... He says "mmmmmm" a lot... I saw him once with a shoe coming out of his mouth... pretty sure there was a leg attached... He looks like a hamster... He seems to pick a grade for you at the beginning of the semester, and you will ALWAYS get that grade... ALWAYS....Very vague in his assignments but picky in grading.

I really enjoyed Harred as a professor. He likes people who speak up in class and contribute to discussions. Attendence is not mandator for discussions, but he ALWAYS gives an in-class essay on the last day of readings for a certain book. As long as you read the book and include quotations in your paper, his class should be very easy.

He is extremely nice, not a rude teacher who tends to pick on students who don't understand or don't listen. Gives you the grades you deserve!! Very easy to talk to, he's a really jolly man, he's made my semester much better than it would have been!

great guy, he is very helpful and will answer any questions, we have to read a lot of material in a short amount of time, but we discuss everything in class, you can use book and notes on quizzes and exams!!
