Dr. Bartlett is EXCELLENT in regards to the course planning. Every single day is planned out. Her tests aren't too difficult as she usually gives a small review. She genuinely cares about her students. The amount of work is a lot however. If you stay perfectly on top of it, there is no issue.

Comment:

Dr. Bartlett is super enthusiastic and cares a lot about the material and the students. She does give a lot of homework, but it's not too hard and doesn't take long, aside from some larger assignments. She is really good about giving feedback on homework and essays, and you have to study for her tests, but they're not too bad. Also, participate!!

Super energetic and fun. Cares about every student and will make you talk even if you're not comfortable with your Spanish. Moves through material really fast. Takes attendance and participation really serious. If you do homework, go to every class, and participate, you'll be fine. If you don't, you'll be way behind and your grade will suffer.

Dr. Bartlett is the sweetest lady. She really helped me this semester. Her tests are hard, but if you're in an upper division language class, I guess you should be willing to put the work in. She'll help you if you make the effort to reach out to her. I would take her again, even though it was challenging.

Dr. Bartlett is a lovely person and very sweet, but she WILL call on you randomly to get you to participate. She gives quite a bit of homework and only collects it from a few students each class. Class is entirely discussion, usually about our weekends, so most learning is left up to the individual on his or her own time.

She's really sweet. & very enthusiastic. I'd take her class again. You have to try though. Her tests are audio, vocabulary, and the rest is writing. You have identifications, short answers, and an essay. The best part is that she lets you choose on identifications like 4 out of 5.

Comment:

One of the best Spanish professors. She is very enthusiastic and you can tell she loves teaching. SUPER nice lady. Her class is not a walk in the park; you MUST study to get an A. (an A is very possible). Class is discussion based, so pay attention and do the homework because you never know when she's going to call on you. Highly recommend taking.

Her classes are mostly discussion based so you must do the homework for every class in order to be prepared. Dr.Bartlett is a very sweet lady who helps you learn the material. She speaks completely in spanish, but she is willing to clarify anything in english. In my class, there was a heavy emphasis on history , art, and literature. We did NO grammar. The tests are not extremely difficult, but a time-consuming and long. A great class! I recommend it!

Dr. Bartlett is far and away the best professor I have ever encountered. She is a rare combination: exceptional subject mastery, humility, thorough preparation, great presentation, challenging but always reasonable. She's really sweet and cute too!!

she honestly cares about each student. you have to show that YOU care...she has favorites-the ones who are super obnoxious. her tests are SO hard...and she grades you on your interpretations of the stories/poems/short novels. long tests

Bartlett is SO much fun!!! Her tests take longer than the 50 min given, and they're pretty hard, but the whole class is worth it. You learn a lot and have fun doing it. She's extremely helpful and fun, with tons of energy.
