Mrs. Brown is a good instructor. She explains the material very clearly and you will pass her class with an A if you study. If you are lazy and go to her class to chat on your cellphone, you will fail.

Please take another teacher the work is kinda easy and everything is laid out. But she is so Picky. She picks and Chooses random stuff then deducts points randomly. I dont think she has a standerd for grading the actual papers. I think if she likes your paper you get a better grade and if she disagrees with your point she flunks it.

I am pretty sure she is a great teacher, but it kind of ruins it when she has a bad attitude when you ask for help or ask her to clarify an assignment. Her aassignments are okay, but i do not like that she is so picky with papers! she adds her own preference and deducts points like crazy. Get a nicer teacher!

Later AmLit online-- great experience. Highly recommend Brown: generous grading, GREAT feedback on papers, keeps you updated as far as grading status, very enthusiastic & knowledgeable. i recommend this teather to anyone that is willing to put up with her snotty attitude. she tends to make you work in groups alot and her tests are hard. shes hard on cell phones and not paying attention.she will call on u for unknown reasons and will make u stand up and read or SING infront of everone.she takes roll every period.overall not good.

Ms. Brown is fair but expects you to do your job. I'm older so I like her...alot of the young kids who come in late get mad at her rules. She can be grouchy but who can't. You just need to learn how to read people. When she is obviously not in a great mood (which is rare) just sit quietly and let her talk....dont bombard with stupid questions.

I'm sure Barbara Brown is a wonderful teacher, but I wouldnt know from the online class. I dont recommend online learning for this class. I feel like I'm not even taking a class and I've got an A average... Not her fault, but kinda a shame, I like english classes. Unless you just must have DL, take the class on campus.

EXCELLENT PROFESSOR. Took her BritLit Online class. She provides plenty of info to understand stories. Test Q's are T/F and EASY but you MUST read the stories, ex: Ariel is a tree? You don't have to analyze the stories, she'll just question to make sure you read the story.

Shes a really good professor. she picks really good lit to read. just read what she asks. the quizez are exatly what you read. not hard. make sure you get on her good side. if you stgart off bad you'll have a bad semester. dont be late!
