LC teaches the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, which is pretty different if you are used to doing Cecchetti or Vaganova. She does have favorites, but she picks on them more than one would think. She expects her students to put actual effort into their dancing and not to just show up and be a lump of meat. Work hard if you want to be the best.

This lady is absolutely brilliant. She is exactly the way a ballet teacher should be--knowledgeable, influential, and makes you work extremely hard. You will learn quite a lot and definitely improve in this class.

Mrs. Carter is a great teacher and i defiantly learned a lot. She does have her favorites, but she picks on them a lot too. She knows what she is doing, but pay close attention to the accent cuz she moves fast. Loved class.

Lisa Carter is by far the best teacher I've ever had at Creighton! The lady is a mastermind when it comes to ballet. If you work hard and pay attention you will gain alot. The grade doesn't matter so much just the experience so enjoy.

Pay attention very closely to that accent...she's actually saying stuff that will be on the exam! Pretty apathetic if you have to miss for school sponsored events too...but the class is easy....come on guys. It's dance.

mean and has her favorites. she grades extremely unfairly. i was definently one of the better dancers in the class and she gave me a B. She doesn't seem to grade on skill, but rather if she likes you and if you pay attention to her 100% of the time.

Don't let the drop numbers fool you, one dropped because he broke his arm in football. I don't know on the other. Great teacher, but the guys have to wear man thongs, just a warning.
