Comment:

Professor Moore is an AMAZING professor. I took Math 101 first semester and I didn't pass with the grade I needed, so I took Math 100 with her second semester and I understood math like I never had before. She is a very passionate and involving professor who is always willing to help and her teaching was very clear.

I was terrified going into college algebra after being out of high school for so long. I took her online class and the lecture series she made was great. I can still use it in pre calculus as reference. I'm a commuter and have a hefty course load and she was very helpful scheduling exam times with me. I will be taking another class with her

Comment:

Math has ALWAYS been my worst subject. I dropped out of college because I couldn't pass college algebra. 7 years later, I came back to USM determined to finish my education. My advisor suggested taking Moore's class. I am so thankful I did. If I had taken her earlier in my college career, I might have considered being a math major.

Comment:

She's an amazing professor, and I enjoyed going to class. She is pretty fast with powerpoint slides, but you can get what you missed in her office hours. The group project (summary, brochure & presentation) and the group paper were the two things that may be a little annoying, but she's awesome. Read the book & look over quizzes to study for exams.

I highly recommend professor Moore. She has the most phenomenal ability to teach in a way that you can easily grasp the concepts. I wish she taught every math class at USM. She responds to emails immediately; even on weekends!. Sometimes, she would respond to my email with a youtube video working out my question on a whiteboard.

I took her hybrid college algebra class, and what a great experience. Algebra has always been my worse subject, but I have excelled in this class. There is a lot to do in one week, but it goes quickly if you don't hold it off. She gives only 2 exams, midterm and final, and allows a page of notes. Couldn't have asked for a better teacher.

I have never had a professor who is this enthusiastic about math and her students success then that of Peggie's class. Her homework's are small and simple, I received a C and D on the first two exams simply because I did not study. I studied for the final from the two exams and ended up with an A-.

She is consistently available to assist you whenever you need help. The course content is well organized on Blackboard and it's updated once a week. She is highly intelligent and moves quickly in lectures. She skips some steps because they seem too simple to mention. I need a professor who mentions each step to remind me of earlier material.

Extremely nice woman with good intentions, just not a very good professor. She over complicated very simple concepts. Only 3 tests are given throughout the course so adjust for that.

LOVE Margaret!! She made learning a topic very easy to understand. I love how she breaks everything down and relates it to real life stuff. One of the best math professors at USM.

Margaret was very very helpful if you needed it! She made this boring/hard class a lot easier than it could have been. I loved how the lectures were pre-recorded and the length wasn't that long at all! If you are scared of online classes,I highly recommend this one!

Peggy is a gifted professor and is very passionate about what she does. She is very helpful and takes the time to make sure every student understand what she was teaching. When I didn't understand something, she gave me a homework extension and sat down with me and watched me do the assignment so she was sure I grasped all the concepts. Great!

Peggy is by far the best teacher I've ever had USM. She is very clear in the subject matter and really helps you understand what you're doing - she really wants you to get it! Furthermore, she was always available to meet when I needed her and she took her time explaining things. Such a great professor and just such a great woman!

Seriously?! Alright, admit it, Peggy is cute. Very mature, like fine wine. Great professor too, explains things thoroughly and with enthusiasm. And funny, if you find the humor. Puts up with some really special people too (you know the too many questions type).

She makes a very bad subject fun and worth attending class for. She is willing to help those who need it as long as you ask. I would retake this class again just to have her again.
