Comment:

I was very intimidated to take Fairbrass, but he is honestly one of my favorites, if not, my fav professor. He is a hard ass but very funny and uses good examples in class. If you show that you care, he will help you out and answer any questions you may have. I took Fairbrass for Bio 124 and worked my ass off for the B i got. I would def recommend.

Was intimidated when I signed up for the class. Told myself I was getting out of there with a B. No less than a B! I wouldve had that B if I werent so afraid to ask questions!! DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS! The man loves when questions are asked. Pay attention and do your best. Id definitely take the class again if I need to.

The first time I took Fairbrass, I hated him. (That class was also not originally his. My prof retired right after classes started). The second time, I realized that he's freaking awesome. He is such a hard-ass, but he is willing to help if you're willing to work. He is pretty abrasive, though, and all of his tests have essay questions.

Fairbrass is such an amazing professor, I honestly couldn't give him enough praise! He doesn't have time for people who aren't going to put their best effort into his class, but if you try 110% he will match your effort. He def knows what he is talking about, and I have the utmost respect for this man. He also plans the best trips for the bio club!

He is a great teacher. I had him for Bio 123 and Bio 124. He helps you if you have any questions and he breaks things down so that you can comprehend the information. Come to class and ask questions and you will do fine!

I loved Mr. Fairbrass, I've just finished my final today and I'm confident without studying, that I passed. He doesn't tolerate slacky lab partners. Labs are fun and usually take place outside. Great class, tough but caring/hilarious professor. Completely made me fall in love with my major. Highly interesting classes and great man.

Missing class even one time is a death sentence. But, even at that, there's no way you'd ever WANT to miss his lectures. If you're into learning, the knowledge you leave with is intoxicating (among other things...) and he usually says something hilarious during lectures, so even if the subject isn't great, you'll want to listen closely.

I took him for Biology 2 and he is excellent. A+ in my opinion. If you get an A, you deserved it. F? You deserved it. You HAVE to work for your grade, but he is fair and he is willing to help you anyway he can. He KNOWS HIS STUFF! Best teacher I've taken at GMC. I am so glad that I took him. He completely changed my way of thinking about science.

Mark is hilarious, knows what he is discussing, and very interesting. He is a very difficult teacher and he really does make you work for the grade. However, it's all up to you and how much effort you want to put in as to what kind of grade you will get. He will always help with questions you have! He has unconventional teaching methods! I loved it

You have to take responsibility and be self-motivated to readdo online assignments, but Fairbrass is really good as clearing up any confusions. He is one of the funniest professors I have, and the labs are really hands-on, so it's not just a bunch of reading a textbook or listening to lectures.

By far the best person I have ever met. Fairbrass is amazing and will make sure you understand the material. If you do not want to do the work in his class, then you have no reason being in college because hard work will be required if you want to be successful in life. Fairbrass is also a great person outside of class on the trips he takes.

He was an awesome professor. Really funny. And really helpful. He doesn't expect you to be an adult and do you work, but he's really willing to make sure that you understand things. Awesome professor. Definitely one of my favorite.
