By far the most engaging professor I have had at OSU. He is older than earth itself but has the movement of a man in his 20's. Really knows his stuff!

This guy does not eff around. He is probably the most knowledgeable teacher at OSU, and it shows. He makes the material crystal clear and does a fantastic job making tests that test your understanding and not memorization. He probably goes to bed wearing that suit!

Dr. Kennedy is the oldest professor I have ever had. He is the most efficient, clear, and able teacher I have ever had. His punctuality is out of this world (starts his lecture within a minute of class starting every time!). Best teacher at OSU.

The most straight forward prof I've ever had. Lectures were easy to follow, no fluff, or fancy stuff. Gave HW hints that pointed you in the right direction. I wish more profs would follow his example. If you have a chance to take a class from him, do it!

Kennedy is a real old school prof. None of this new school teaching BS we're starting to see at OSU. He's fair, helpful with hard HW, no BS, straight-shooting, experienced and a great teacher. I'd take anything from him. He knows engineering very well.

Always on time and incredibly prepared. Knows his topics like no teacher I've ever had. Be prepared for strict lecture/note-taking style of teaching. Tests are difficult but are quite appropriate. Can be boring but I've learned an incredible amount of material in this course. Only good things to say.

Comment:

Kennedy is the longest tenured prof in the engineering college, which usually means they don't care for students at all. Not so with Kennedy, he's a great prof that can make even the hardest concepts absolutely clear. He has a subtle dry wit that often comes through in lecture. Exams are easy, which is good, since they're worth a ton.

Kennedy is very professional, clear, and smart. In his class you feel that you are getting your money's worth. The subject seems difficult, but everything is presented perfectly so that it is easily learned. My favorite engineering professor so far.

Dr. Kennedy is a great professor. He makes a potentially difficult subject very understandable. Homework is not a problem because he tells you how to do each problem in class. He's classy, too... a smart dresser and always walks in exactly on time, +/- 30 seconds.
