I loved his class! I looked forward attending his lectures. He made a lifetime lasting impression on me. This is a little late. I graduated from LR in 2008, but just found this! Mr. Hagar was amazing! Thank you for being an awesome and fabulous instructor!

He is very kind and loves teaching. He is very clear about what he expects. We had about 7 tests in all- if you take notes and study, you'll make an A! He's very helpful and understanding.

Meh. The entire subject matter could have been covered in a week. The semester long project could have been done in the same amount of time, if the professor had been clear about what he wanted. Instead we ended up doing nothing the entire semester and then rushing to REDO the project at the end. Also, bought 4 books and didn't touch them.

He covered a lot of material in class, all in power point form. The classes tended to be pretty boring, but his terrible jokes made it a little more entertaining. Overall, I had a good experience with him, he always gave out study guides and told us exactly what would be on the test. A super easy class with minimal work.

He gives too much information and skips out on they important things which he puts on the tests. Very boring, doesn't know how to set up power points. Cannot pronounce words correctly at all.

Im a history maj and hated his class. Lacked a thorough knowledge of dates... used his own political biases to rewrite history and insulted many students with his views on slavery(in his words wasnt that bad) and other topics. His class was very easy. didnt check sources on papers.

Great teacher. Loves to tell jokes. All notes are on powerpoint. Do study guide. Don't skip class or you'll miss all the fun. For people who don't like history, you'll enjoy the class and learn a lot from it.
