This professor was great! Super easy class. I took the short session class. All we had were quizzes to complete after each chapter and then we had 3 speeches to do. Please do the outlines which are required. Those do help with your speeches. Also she does require for her students to inform her of their topics.

Not only does she have an amazing teaching style when it comes to online learning but she also genuinely cares for the well being of ALL her students. I was dreading taking public speaking, not because I was afraid of the speeches . I saw it as a class I didn't need. Mrs. A gave me a new perspective on communications and the importance of learning about it. It is not just public speaking but the ability to convey information and learning to listen. I highly recommend her.

Professor Armentrout is such a great professor! Her online class met in person 3 times to present speeches, but you can send her your speeches too, so you don't actually have to come to class, but your grades will be higher if you do! Don't forget about your chapter quizzes though. They're worth 1 point a piece off of your grade if you forget.

Mrs. Armentrout is great. I had the opportunity to be in her final semester as a full time instructor. She is hilarious and down to earth, and really makes you feel comfortable at the speech sessions. It was a lot to do in a short session (8 weeks), but I wish that I could have her as an instructor every semester.

Really enjoyed her. She is the sweetest. She loves her job and does well. Four speeches, one needs a visual aide. All three based on Constitution. (that's her thing). Quizzes are only and very easy. (once a week). Quizzes and presentations are your grade.

Did not like this teacher at all. She will talk your ear off, rambling on & on. She basically says the same sentences over & over again. So annoying! The classwork & quizzes were easy, I just hated having to put up with her. She really got on my nerves.

I love intercultural communication and studying different cultures. This class was the best - great student diversity and participation. Class discussions topics and filed trip were the best; book not so much. Instructor and class were different, but never boring. I would love to take an advanced class.
