The class started off promising but there is A LOT of work - a game simulation that isn't tied to the lessons, 4 case studies, 1 presentation and 2 tests that are based more on the book than the lectures & reading. You'll also work with your group a lot. The class was okay but not as great as it could be. If you don't mind the work load, it's okay.

He was very precise,to the point and wants things his way or else it is the highway, never returns materials on time, he means EXACTLY what he says, get on his good side and you will win the course. Otherwise, good gader, tons of convos, and application to real world, limited textbook use but READ FOR EXAM ! Unsure for recommendation.

This teacher was awesome! He's very easy going even though he comes across tough and he does love the ladies. I was one of them. Ha However, I enjoyed the level of conversation in his class the most. He got us to think about concepts rather than teaching out of a book and made sure the entire class got involved in discussion. I would take him again

MUST GO TO CLASS!!! he really cares about attendance and if you don't go, you will not get anywhere close to an A. but if you go to class, participate, study for the exams, really prepare your presentation, and do ok on globus, you'll be fine. exams are tricky but he curves them.

This professor is an absolute must for an MBA program. He is very knowledgeable, nice and with a sense of humor (imagine?), reasonable, knows how to teach (a rarity). He relies mostly on cases, articles and presentations. 2 one page case write-ups, 1 presentation and one final . Take him if you want to get something out of baruch program!

Challenging class, requires attendance, participation and the actual reading of all the material assigned. Professor wants you to think for yourself so definitely no spoon feeding. Three write-ups, one extra case, one group presentation and one final. Unfortunately prof is also disorganized and takes a long time to return assignments.

This guy is such a loser. Do not take him. I see one positive comment about him on here. He probably posted it himself. He does no work in class. Students analyze the texts. He doesn't come to class prepared and forgets details from the cases. He is a poor excuse for a professor.

The class is extremely a lot of work,but we did not get too much help from the professor. He just loads you with tons of assignments and explains in detail what should have been done after he grades and returns them. Sometimes creams at students in class randomly....

Any BPL class, doesnt matter what professor you take, will be hard and time consuming. Genc is a bit unorganized with scheduling work throughout the semester but he is smart and knowledgeable. His exams are tricky but if you read the text, you'll do just fine.

Professor missed 4 classes. Does not teach Simulation material. Average grade 62. Doesn't teach material. Tests are from a test bank. Drinks too much coffee. Thinks he is a super being;you can never get a real grade in his class. He curves a lot. He will curve a C to B+. Ridiculous. Can I get a refund please

This guy is great! His exams are not easy but he rates you on an overal class average (which is usually low). He makes the class really enjoyable. Will get to know every student. Presentations are time consumming but he rates fair and is very helpful. I wouldn't have chosen a different professor even if I was given the option. Simply the best.

Ok, reading these ratings I get an impression that Baruch students just wanna get away with taking a 5000 lvl course and having it taught as if it was a 1000 lvl. Well, it will not work in this class and any other BPL for that matter, so don't try. I can say this prof is very fair, flexible, and accomodating. You will get what you work for.
