In the classroom, he wasnt that great in my opinion. Nearly every class was 5 minutes of speaking, then he would dismiss the class, and those that wished to stay could talk and receive help. It encouraged a lot of students to blow off the class. That said, outside the classroom, Ive never had better discussions with any other professor...EVER!

Easily my favorite prof from Westfield. Clearly knows what he is doing and he obviously enjoys his job. Of anyone he is the one who should have been the department chair. I hope he enjoys his retirement.

Best professor in the CS/CIS department! A REAL teacher. Changed my whole academic career with a story about Spec writing, Lotus, and the PC. His secret? I think it's his Math background--he seems to understand everything going on in the background, from a computational standpoint... always willing to stay late and help... Very down-to-earth.

"Best of the best" One of the greatest professors you could ever have. His classes are interesting, he always has time to help, and genuinely cares about his students. He loves his work and it shows. Take any class he offers, you will enjoy it.
