Writing intensive PH101. Put on your thinking cap & put the time in for reading and writing every week and it should be fairly easy. Very fair professor and genuinely a nice guy! Chill class.. interesting subject matter really makes you think. Lenient grader, just try to write enough words and you'll be good. One of my favorite professors so far.

He is a great teacher. You will love him. Essays are a bit long but he is a good grader. He is very passionate about teaching and will encourage you and help you throughout the course. Trust me. Easy A if you study.

Comment:

He is very old school and refuses to use PowerPoint. His voice is boring and He often tends to go off topic and discuss stuff for most of the lecture which will never be on any test, and his tests are tricky. If you understand the chapter in the book and study the review at the end of each chapter you should be fine though.

I took him for the winter session, he is a good professor, but make sure you read every chapter. Do not just memorize the information, actually read it, because his questions are a bit tricky. He is nice, from what I see, I recommend him---- maybe not as an online class. It might be better if you'd take him as an actual face-to-face class.

He is great at commenting on every discussion and quiz grade given. Enjoyed being in his class. You do have to read from the textbook, but the discussions are basic it's a personal opinion in all.

The professor was very clear with his class grading and participation grading. He explained how we would have discussions, a quiz to follow afterwards, and a five paragraph essay that was really easy on a movie ! I will recommend this online class to anyone. He gave you feedback on all your discussions and reminded you when work was due.

Would highly recommend Professor Teke!!! he is very dedicated to his job. Does not give homework, but READING the chapters will help you a LOT!!!! and going by his syllabus you'll pass with an easy A. ;)

He's a little hard to understand at the beginning after sometime of being in that class, you learn his teaching style. Everything you need is in the book but what helped me pass this class was teaming up with classmates. Oh and he gives extra credit points for his test so that helps a whole lot. You will pass. He is fair. Be at classes and be there on time. He gets to class late most times but it's just good to be there before him. He is fair!! I got an "A" oh and please take time to read ur notes after he has given them to you. Essays are also big but he grades easy on them so u will still do well even if ur not a great writer.

I haven't even finished the semester and I already love him. He's probably one of the few teachers that seem like straight up down to earth, honest guy. His style of teaching is awesome because he loves what he does. I would definitely take him again if it wasn't my last semester.

Awesome professor! He clearly explains the chapters during the class and makes the content much easier to comprehend. The tests are not difficult as long as you read the chapters prior to the exam. Few homework assignments but overall a great professor and not boring at all. The class really changes your perspective about life- very interesting.

Good class.. you use the textbook a lot for reading and to study. He only lectures and rarely gives notes. Lectures are kind of boring. Funny guy. Tests are challenging. Overall, with good attendance, you can easily pass.

Ive taken this prof for SOC 101 in the past, i found him to be very easy. If you do all the reading and just take notes, there is no way you can fail.If your not good at any of those, then good luck to you.His test can be a little tricky but if you pay attention, it will be easy. sit in front so that you dont fall asleep to easily with him talking
