Mr. Fugate is a very smart and fair teacher he knows radiology stuff like the back of his hand, the biggest problem is he is very unorganized . Beware to be stressed to the max as you never know what is going on week by week. He doesnt seem to remember things he says. Also he is known to misplace tests and blame it on the students.

Comment:

A great professor & one of the few who even cares. He knows his subject inside out & explains it from every conceivable angle. If you are having problems, Michael will be helpful but make an appointment. Self preparation by reading chapters and power points is a good way to go. Michael is a professional.

Took this in Summer A. It had been a few years since he taught the class. He told you everything that was going to be on tests. He knows his stuff but sometimes I think its hard for him to say what he wants to say. But excellent teacher!! Drove to Archer campus but it was worth it. If you have to be absent for a day he will work with you.

Michael's discussions are over a broad range of subjects instead of focusing on the the subject at hand. Nothing is in order & be prepared for 1000 pieces of a puzzle to be thrown at you when all you needed was 50 to complete it. lectures frequently violate the precept. He teaches from experience, but it does not always result in genuine knowledge.

Professor Fugate explains everything thoroughly and presents everything that will be on the tests. There is some self preperation that is involved for his class, but this is a COLLEGE LEVEL course for COLLEGE LEVEL students. Everything is presented in a professional manner and thoroughly reminded throughout the class.

Professor Fugate is very intelligent and has been doing his job for like a hundred years. His teaching style is conducive to higher thinking. He will not spoon feed you the information. This is the premier Radiography Program in Flordia so bring it. He's The BOSS!

As a former grad.. i thought he was an excellent teacher. He will make you work for it and will make you think. There may be 2 right answers but one is the best right answer, much closer to real life. 2 1/2 years later I took my CT registry and thought the whole time I wish he had taught a CT course! Even with the basics he taught me, I passed.

As a second year student, I have seen a big difference in this professor's attitude. He doesn't seem to like teaching anymore or care about his students. Quite a few discrepencies in what he teaches in class & his tests. When over 50% of the entire class misses 7 test questions, there's a problem(100% missed one question). He would not compromise.

You must be an exceptional student to get into the X-ray program. Don't plan on having a life for the next two years! Michael is a great guy. He cares about his students but is very critical and expects you to do your best. (I am a first year student).
