One of the best economics professors I've had so far. He knows what he is talking about and makes everything easy to understand. Gives a booklet for notes where the tests are from. Open for questions and answers them clearly. Really enjoyed this class and would take another one of his classes! Would have made an A but I was taking another 5W1

Classes are interesting and enjoyable, but packed full of lecture; you can't miss a class. That being said, a student who sat behind me came to class with whooping cough because being sick was not considered an excused absence. Wonderful lecturer. Makes notetaking easy. You know exactly what to study.

He's good professor and is very helpful. Even though attendance isn't mandatory, showing up for class helps your grade a lot because of the amount of pop quizzes given out and because the class builds on itself, if you miss a class, it's hard to understand what is happening next class. I would advise to do all the homework do the practice tests.

This class is very simple and not time consuming. Attending every lecture and doing the short homework assignments helped me make the grade I did. He lays down the notes for you to aid what is in the book. I would advise taking the practice exams online and in the book practice exams because that really sets you up for everything on the tests.

He is very helpful. His grading criteria is so clear and all quiz, home and in class exercise are all optional (extra credit, Bonus). There's always an in class exercise every class but you know what at the end of the class he will show the solution of that in class exercise so obviously, everyone will get full score on that exercise. I really LOVE

Very good professor. It was an 8 am class, and he still managed to keep the students interested. It was pretty tough for me since some of the principles are initially hard to grasp, but he is willing to answer all questions and help you whenever you need it. Show up for sure! Sometimes there are pop quizzes and he'll give you answers!

Professor McPherson is one of the best teachers I've ever had! He made the course content really interesting, and super helpful with answering questions. Study for the tests, go to every class and do the "optional" homework. It is impossible to make a bad grade if you go to class, study, and ask questions!

Professor McPherson is awesome! He keeps the lecture interesting especially for such a dry subject. Willing to answer any questions and is respectful. Class consisted of 2 mid-terms, a final, in class work, optional homework. Fantastic professor, highly recommend him!

Dr. McPherson is incredibly helpful and clear in his teaching style. His class is challenging if you have never had stats before, but he is incredibly helpful and very lenient in his grading. Do NOT slack on the lab portion, it will bite you in the end.

His classes can be hard to pay attention to because he's very dry and gives you the notes before hand. My only complaint was that the wouldn't curve my grade .04 points to get a letter grade higher. His test are straight forward, but the final is nearly impossible.
