Definitely very passionate about his subject. Hated the way he would show videos and stop them every few minutes for commentary... Hard to get interested in them this way. Daily quizzes sucked... Like studying for finals every week and still missing it.

Attendance is a must! There is only one test, thats the final. He gives quizzes every class period. You never know what is on the quiz. Also watch a lot of films. If you sit in the first two rows, he asks you a lot of questions so be ready to talk.

Do NOT skip a single lab!!! The class is so HARD your lab grade will carry you. The BIG BUG collection is a HUGE pain and is only worth 70pts. The DAILY quizzes are impossible be ready to know random bug things. You will feel like an entomologist after this HARD class. I feel sorry for you!

This class is somewhat ridiculous. I like Ag and wanted to take this class. He gives pop quizzes all the time and there are no tests in the class. You never know what to expect on the quiz. It can be really simple stuff or the nitty gritty details. If you like sitting and watching movies and don't mind the movie being interrupted every couple minut

WONDERFUL CLASS!His daily quizzes will take years off your life, but he is an AWESOME teacher!I dont know what everyone has against him.He is probably the most knowledgeable person I've met. The class is hard but he has a HUGE curve so everyone does pretty well.I would definately recommend him to anyone(for forestry at least).I could take it again!
