Comment:
Dr. Shabestary is not a hard professor, but she does like for things to be perfect. I had her for CHEM300, professionalism in science. The class itself is not hard, but there is a lot of work that can pile up if you wait to do it last minute. She is pretty clear on what she wants and doesn't want. Responds to emails relatively quickly.

Had her for pchem, lectures were pretty straight foward, but somewhat hard to understand. Be prepared to do a lot of book work and reading. The tests were fairly easy though, which was definately a plus.

great professor! explained everything clearly, and knows her stuff. She has an accent, but not hard to understand at all. She cares alot about her students. I recommend her to everyone.

Comment:
Took this class over the summer, she told us every day we would fail 'cuz it was summer semester and we needed to work extra hard. Didn't explain things very well and was hard to understand because of the thick Iranian accent.
