I had professor Stanley for LAE3210 online. The course was very easy and the quizzes are all open book and based on PowerPoints that he narrates himself. You do need to complete 15 literature logs which can be very time consuming but if you spread it out throughout the semester it isnt bad at all and he is a very generous grader.

Great professor ever! Dr. Stanley is very encouraging and caring. I love his discussions about storytelling and poetry. Exams are not difficult, but you must make sure to take well responsibility for your own study! Highly recommend.

Dr. Stanley was horrible and constantly wasted our time. We learned basically nothing and sometimes sat around and watched Dr. Seuss movies during our three hour class. I feel completely unprepared for my next literacy course next semester.

Online class. Highly recommend. Some quizzes and tests but you can find the info online or in the modules. Two large critical tasks but they are easy. Final exam. Everything online. Only 11 total assignments for the entire class.

This is my second semester taking Dr. Stanley (LAE3210LAE3211), and he is such an awesome professor even for an all online class. He is quick to respond to any emails or questions you have regarding assignments and is always making sure that everyone is up to speed in his class. He is very encouraging and has made learning about literacy very fun.

Dr. Stanley was a wonderful professor. He set the online course up very well, communicated clearly and effectively, and assignment requirements were crystal clear. The projects were very involved but useful. I enjoyed this course and highly recommend that others take LAE with Dr. Stanley.
