Dr. Pung is overall a good teacher, and I learned a lot, but he is very picky, though I guess that is a good thing in the long run. He is a little bit harder than other biology classes, but not impossible.

Parasitology was an exciting, informative, experience.You write your notes but you won't regret it. But don't slack bc attendance to lab is mandatory and absences from lecture will hurt you. He won't try to "trick u". He's passionate about what he's teaching, the BEST to learn the proper "Pung Method" of using a microscope. examples are AMAZING.

Microbiology with Pung was enjoyable, be prepared to write some serious notes, he'll usually give you warning before he quizzes, exams aren't tricky just a lot of info, generally pretty detailed...you'll learn a lot.

Dr. Pung is a very good teacher. The tests can be difficult but if you go to class regularly then you'll do fine. He doesn't take attendance but he gives pop quizzes. If your into science...he's a must. You'll learn ALOT.
