Pam is a kind and easy Prof. By far my favorite for Geography so far. She only gives two projects for the whole term which a can easily be done in a day or two if your focused. She's an easy marker and even tells you what's going to be on the exams as well as giving you a study guide. I would highly recommend taking one of her classes.

Great professor! Funny and very passionate about her subjects. Read articles and then discuss them in class. Everyone must give their input. DO THE READINGS!!! I took this class as an elective for interior design. GEOG 342 is more related. Would love to take her classes again!!

Great professor! Very passionate about her subjects and pulls in real work she done in the field. Pam is pretty funny and keeps your attention the whole class. One group project throughout the year. I took this class as an elective for interior design. Was a great pick! Would love to take her classes again!!

One of my favourite classes! I knew I loved Cultural Geography prior to taking this class, but after taking GEOG230 with Pam, I'm beginning to consider a career in urban planning. Pam is very passionate and fun, you'll be glad you took the class with her!! I disagreed with her opinions sometimes but overall she is a fantastic teache

As usual Pam is a freaking treat, for reals, Pam is so great when it comes to lectures and tests, really she makes my day, for reals, she rolls deep with other GEOG peeps like Maria Inez Paez Fayeida. If you love urban geography please take a class with her she will blow your mind away. Pam Shaw is a treat and that is real talk at its finest.

I'm glad that I took a course with Pam. She's so funny and enthusiastic about planning. In the wrong hands, this could be a boring subject... but with Pam it's all puppies and rainbows. You'll learn a lot, but you'll also have fun and get a great mark. Just don't let her talk you into getting any planning-related tattoos... haha.

Pam is hilarious! It's the little things she does that get you. She reminds me of Ellen Degeneres. Awesome teacher, really made Geography interesting and fun. And on top of that, it's a pretty easy class. Recommending her to EVERYONE!

Pam is spectacular, by far the coolest prof I have had in my first year, makes geography interesting, a strong case for you if your major is undecided, take her class. Super fun! She is funny, if you put down Dubai she gets really flustered. Ask about slang cards and ask "Waddup Pam" everyday. She rocks and cares about this planet. She is so cool! Can't say enough about her!
