Professor Carlo is probably one of the best professors I've had at Nassau. She summarizes the information in a way that is easy to understand and genuinely cares about her students.

honestly I only showed up to hand in the homework's which counted as quizzes. she's a sweetheart of a woman and I strongly encourage people to take her. you don't need to pay attention in class cause there's only a midterm and final that's 10 words that u choose from a sheet and u say 3 things about them. overall an easy class and an easy grade

She's a very sweet lady but with her you must keep up with work. Lots of quizzes, practically 1-2 quizzes per week. Don't take the quizzes lightly you must read everything. She sure loves critical thinking questions. Also great when it comes to knowledge and a well organized professors. I just wasn't ready for all these quizzes

Really good professor. 15 quizzes throughout the semester and the 10 highest gets counted. (They are offered as the ECs, so don't miss out on that). One research paper, one final essay(50%) along with (50%) of the written (short answers) exam. I would reccomend her. She is very much respectful and an extremely caring professor. :)

She was great!! As long as you pay attention, take notes, and actually do the assignments you should get a B if not better. I just skimmed through all the readings, and still managed to get an A. She is very clear on what she wants you to do and very on top of everything. One of my best experiences at NCC.

This is not and easy class. If you are looking for an easy A look elsewhere . A short paper is due every week. Sometimes 2 a week. The midterm and final are accompanied with a paper. If you miss a minor detail points are taken off. Lectures are very clear

she is so cute! material can be boring but she tries to make the lectures interesting. 14 take home quizzes and only a midterm and final. the book set is kinda pricey but you will definitely need it. she gives out review sheets which are basically the test. she is amazing and if you can take her do it, she really is one of the best in hist dept.

She's alright. Very nice. Her lectures are really long and boring. Her notes are all over the place. she grades her quizzes like a English professor. There's 14 quizzes you only have to do 10. But they're due almost every class. Goes over information you've learned in high school. Doesn't like use of outside information.

OK, I thought she was an OK professor. I seriously did nothing in class and got a b+. Do the Quizzes at home every time she assigns one! I only got a b+ because she actually goes through every question of the midterm and final with you. I just recorded it with phone while everyone was writing and went over questions at home.. haha she had no clue!!

I always enjoy learning about History, but Professor. Carlo made the subject itself much more intriguing for me. She is such a nice woman inside and out, who cares for her students. She is very fair with her grading policy and there are 14 quizzes, 1 midterm, and 1 final. Make sure you do all your work and try not to miss any assignments.
