This was the easiest class I've ever taken. You only have a few assignments and 2 tests. All of the answers are online and you don't need to study. The assignments are super easy and open on the first day of class. If you do all of the labs in one day and then the tests whenever you want, you never have to go to class.

Prof Fritz lectures are nothing on his exams. He talks about his bike all class long, and how protein powder, and vitamins are BAD for you. His exams are all book, and he makes them harder because they're "open note". Meanwhile in his lecture, he tells us nothing about textbook and nothing that is on the exam. Don't take him.

Professor Fritz's tests are difficult and timed. you have to read the chapters if you want to do decent in the class. he lectures the entire class and talks down on the students about our bad "habits" as if every young adult is the same.

He's a great lecturer and kept the class interesting! The only important thing to note is that his lectures vary from the information in the book, and all of the tests are based on the book. If you want to pass the tests you have to read the book regardless of what notes you have from the class.

This class is completely lecture. You dont have to take any notes, it wont help on the tests. Go to class everyday before the first test (not the second) because if you have good attendance he will give you a second chance on the test. Tests are online, they take forever, and are super hard even though they are open book. Lectures dont help.

He obviously cares a lot about his profession and is invested in his students' success. Lectures are lively and embellished with personal stories. The textbook reading is a bit heavy but tests are open-book so it's not hard to get a good grade.

Professor Kieth mainly relies on power points to do his teaching. He spends most of class time talking while his students copy down power point notes. He can talk for hours and hours.

Gave out very easy homework about once a week. Loved talking about exercise and about biking. Only had two main assignments throughout the year, if you dont do well on those you are screwed. The two assignments were extremely hard and the lectures didn't really help. He does look at your grade and will bump it up if you are close.

He is very passionate about health and wellness so he lectures on how it can help us. What he lectures on does not really help you and the 2 exams given. Everything that is graded is done online. The exams are open note and open book but they are hard and stressful. There is not a lot of home work.

Not a bad guy, but a terrible teacher. We had a lecture about teeth and brushing your teeth, was that on the exam? NO. But then material that was on the exam was never covered. He'll let you redo assignments if you don't get a good grade on it, but if it wouldn't have been for those assignments I would have gotten a bad grade in his class.

Fritz is a great guy and I've taken another kinesology class from him before and it was great. Health and Wellness course from him was difficult because the lectures had nothing to do with the tests and you only have those and practice activities as your grades. If you show up to class when he takes attendance you're able to retake your tests.

I felt that he preached rather than lectured. He is obviously passionate about the material, but sometimes failed to get to the point. He randomly takes attendance 2 times during the semester. If you are accounted for during those 2 times, you are eligible to retake the first test.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. He assigns a ton of homework and if it is not up to par with what is rattling around in his head he fails you. He also assigns a ton of work over holiday breaks. 3 assignments, 1 exam, and 1 research paper during a week off. He is basically setting us up to fail because he knows we are on break.

I didn't care for him. He seemed very into fitness which is great, but he's kinda judgmental. I didn't like that I felt judged by him in his lectures. He doesn't think that people can gain weight due to medical issues. He seemed to think it's because everyone eats poorly. Talked about himself a lot also. Didn't care for him whatsoever.

Very nice but gets off topic easily, hard to follow and hard to take notes, better off reading the text book. Few written tests (open note/open book) pretty easy, Show up on time and participate during activities. Doesn't give you enough time for papers/ the big written assignments so start early and ask lots of questions. Would NOT take again.

He is very unorganized! You can't follow his slides because he goes out of order. Very set in his ways. He is fun and gives good feedback when doing hands on activities. Wont tell you deadlines for papers til 1/2 -3/4 thru semester, then deadlines fly by. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! Ask for assistance in advance and before you turn papers in.

He lectures every day in class, but the two exams are based mostly on the textbook. Each exam requires a few chapters of reading, but they can be read right before the test. Lectures aren't necessary to pass the test, but they are interesting, providing information about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Read the book, do the labs, and you'll pass.

This class was tough. Tests were not based on his lectures, if not word for word from the book, and there are only two of them. While they are online, and if I remember correctly, open book, if you work fast, you can pass the tests. The book assignments help your grade too.

Took during January Term. 5 day class and there isn't a lot of hw. Mostly talks about his own experiences with staying healthy during the lecture. Midterm and Final Exam-Open Note and Open Book. Will give you a second chance on the Midterm if you don't like your score.
