Participation 20%, Homework 25%, Quizzes 30%, Lab 10%, Final 15%. Do the homeworks and participate the quizzes are based on each chapter easy if you study and know the work. Lab is voice threads w a students very easy. Finals is on the last chapter so its not overwhelming. Hes the best and cares and wants you to pass and loves his work.

Take this professor! He is amazing and is very understanding. He really encouraged us students to do our best in learning French and always motivated us before every exam. He is very fair, do the online homework's and the tests will be easier for you so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT! He is always available after class. There is an exam after every chapter.

What a guy! He's got such a great spirit and loves his job and loves French. He's a great and patient teacher and will often answer the same question 100 times. He's funny and friendly but professional. Grades fairly. I would take him again.

Very, very, very understanding professor, he makes class interesting by incorporating aspects of the real world into learning a language. Not only did I learn some French, but I learned about French culture. Great caring guy. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Okay so I have failed his class but I am still leaving a positive review for this honest and sweet guy. He is very straight to the point. Absolutely he's not an easy A, makes you work for it and help you get there. I failed his class but guys, if you're really willing to work hard and interested in learning French then he's the one for you.

Pr. C is a great guy, he is very fast on things, but if you don't understand smth he is willing to explain it as many times as needed. There is a quiz and a voice thread after each chapter. You have to study to get an A, but it's not that hard, he makes it really easy as long as you follow. I'd take him again!

Professor Consenstein was fantastic. His class is no easy A but you will learn the language if you show up and do the work. Don't show up late on test days or you will miss the verbal portion and damage your grade.

Very clear at explaining. Very strict with attendance, yes you lose points from your final grade. Quiz (he calls it quiz.. an hour and a half quiz) after every chapter. Final is accumulative. He doesn't give extra credit, he doesn't drop your lowest grade. Every grade you get counts towards your final grade. You actually learn. Great professor!

One of the coolest and easygoing professor. He makes the lecture fun and makes his student laugh. TRUST ME HE'S GOOD TAKE HIS CLASS. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. Please do your homework he gives a test after every chapter and review with the class before the test. I RECOMMAND HIM

AMAZING French teacher. I learned so much from him, even more than with my previous professor (who was actually French). He is very funny and spontaneous, which keeps you paying attention all the time. Explains the subject extremely well and always answers everyone's questions. Just make sure you do all homework and don't miss a single lab!

Really excellent at teaching French. I wish I had had him in Frn 101 too. But note that he grades on exactly how you performed in the class, no extra credit. Attendance is very important to him also. I found he was really helpful whenever I asked any questions.

He was ok but I would not take him again (and I got an A in the class). The class is pretty demanding (aside from any foreign language classes being so) and he didn't really make it much easier. He's very "New York" in that he's not really that nice at all. To his credit he is honest and fair though. Be prepared to work hard and be serious.

I have no idea how people came up with these kind of descriptions of prof. Cons. Not a single word is true here. I dropped his class with several other students by the end of a 3rd week. Disrespectful. Unintelligent. Unprofessional. Be Careful.
