Trumbore is by far, my favorite prof at OU. He structures his classes based on readings assigned the week before. Each class is a lecture/class discussion. Thank God, there are no exams--you're just graded on papers. Every week I looked forward to the engaging and thought-provoking discussions. Do yourself a favor. Take him.

AWFUL. This class has a larger work load than my 3 other courses combined. Expect to read 200+ pages a week, on top of discussions due about the readings, along with extra projects and papers each week.

By far one of the best professors I have had at OU. This class is more of a discussion based class where you discuss subtopics within the broad topic for that week. He really gives a lot of academic freedom when it comes to your papers for this class. Definitely increases your interest in the subject. Make sure you go to class.

Interesting lectures, and Nations game was so much fun! Tests very difficult, but you should do okay if you study hard!

If you can't make it to class make sure you email beforehand and he won't count it against you. Moves SUPER fast, recommend taking notes via laptop. Takes FOREVER to give papers/tests back. Doesn't post grades on Moodle. 3 Exams, all multiple choice. If you think you're good at multiple choice, you're wrong. VERY HARD tests.

This class I took for my IR minor and I was expecting to breeze through it. It was not difficult but I ended up getting more involved than I thought! SOOOOO much fun. We do a nations simulation that really helps boost participation grade and bring the class together. Lecture heavy but not boring. Assignments were short and interesting. Great Prof!!

I'd call him whimsical. Got me interested in Poli Sci, he also apparently teaches a class on terrorism. Explains material well.

Lectures were fantastic! I really enjoyed this class and solidified my interest in politics. Prof T is very well-read and passionate and it shows in his class. I never felt too stressed about the workload. If you take notes and do minimal reading, you'll definitely pass. A great professor but an even better guy and that's saying a lot!

Peter is very educated & knows a lot about politics. He is also always willing to learn, nice & very humble. I would recommend this class to anyone! Remember to at least read all the vocab from the text, sometimes he throws in a few questions from the book that definitely wasn't on the slides. Multiple extra credit opportunities.

The worse teacher ever, he is not an academic teacher. if you are a foreign student, don't take this class with this teacher because he doen't like foreign students. You will not know what does he want, and whatever you write, you will get (C ).

The material was interesting and though the lectures were long, Trumbore is good at engaging you. Only a midterm, final, and 2 or 3 essays. Even though I'm not a PS major, I learned a lot in the class and enjoyed the discussions.

Trumbore knows what he's talking about when it comes to terrorism. I just wish the class was structured better. No offense to the other students but I don't care what they think and that's pretty much every class, open discussion. Get ready to read is an understatement. It's a tough class but worth it.

Professor Trumbore was grea. He lectures to slides which he puts online at the beginning of the semester, which was helpful. He gives you enough time on the papers and he let's you have a couple of extra credit opportunities by going to events/lectures around campus. Not the most fascinating subject but he knows his stuff. I'd take him again!

Professor Trumbore is very good at elaborating on the materials in his lectures and he is readily available for assistance. Make sure that you come to every class! His tests are primarily based upon lecture notes with some usage of the book. I did not utilize the textbook the way I should have and I got a B+ where I should have gotten an A-.

Wish I could type more here, but-- I went into this class not having a great theoretical understanding of politics and not being very interested in it either-- I decided I would try it and I ended up loving . I'm glad we tackled harder material despite having little background, he did a great job making the material approachable and fun. +Bowties!

He uses a lot of powerpoint slides and is always ready to answer your questions. Pretty easy going guy who usually falls behind in terms of the syllabus. The tests are usually straight forward and pretty easy as long as you follow the lectures and read the book.

I took Profeesor Trumbore for Moel UN. He was an excellent professor and was very clear and precise on what was needed in order to do well in the class. This class requires that you attend a UN conference where you compete. With Prof. Trumbore's guidance we received 1st place at this years conference. Take this professor if you can
