Comment:

The main part of this class was the out of class student teaching/observing. The in-class experience was almost a waste of time. In-class presentations were pointless. Our class discussions were mostly political, not much about how to be a good teacher. Pearlman knows his stuff, but he is very boring and monotone. Cant complain tho, I got an A :)

Dr. Pearlman is excellent. I learned so much, he is an old time Doctor who worked in the field. He really knows his stuff. The things you get from listening to the private thoughts of this man are priceless. Stop looking for that "A" and listen to what he has to teach you.

The worst class I've ever, ever, ever taken. Pearlman probably is a knowledgeable man, but has no teaching skills. He requires a "movie project" (which you must present) and a "web paper"; both are a waste of time. I learned nothing in this class, except that Pearlman is a Freudian psychologist and is extremely obsessed with sex. AVOID THIS CLASS!!

Best professor ever!!!! Take him and do his work and show up inc class... Do in class aissignments n u will get an A.. Make sure u do ur 90 hrs.. He is easy A prof!! I wish I can take him again and our glass was so much fun... Super fun!!! I def recommend this prof!! Go for it!!

Dr Pearlman is by far the best teacher! The atmosphere of the class was very laid back and fun. He encouraged group participation which made the three hour class go by very quickly. As long as you do your assignments (which were easy) and your field experience hours the class is a guaranteed A. I will miss Dr Pearlman and this class!

Dr. Pearlman is an excellent teacher. If you follow his instructions, do all assigments then you are sure to get an A. This was one of the best class I've ever had. Not sure what Dr. Pearlman did, but we were all eager to attend his class. Communication was alwasy open. Give him a chance and do not judge by looks.

Prof Pearlman was one of the best teachers I've ever had! Our class was amazing! We had great class discussions, even when we got off topic it all pertained to what we were learning in some way. He brought real life situations into the classroom to help us prepare for being in the field. Do your work, go to class and participate and you'll do fine!

Dr. Pearlman is a fantastic professor. he is very helpful and clear with his instructions. we had 2 projects, no tests or quizzes. as long as you came to class and participated then there is no reason you cant get an A. i was so sad when the semester was over..he is truely an amazing man. i am going to miss him!

I LOVED HIM!! OUR CLASS WAS 3HRS LONG AND I NEVER MISSED A CLASS BECAUSE OF HOW GOOD IT WAS. AS LONG AS YOU ATTEND CLASS AND DO YOUR WORK THERE ISN'T A SINGLE REASON WHY YOU CAN'T OR WON'T PASS.

Dr. Pearlman is a true gentleman. He takes pride in his preparing future teachers for their roles in the classroom. He teaches what you need to know in order to succeed in the real world. Just do your work, and you'll pass. Participation is key. You get out of the class only what you put in. I liked his open forum approach best.
