class consists of weekly quizzes(easy)12 total and 10 best are used for grades, 2 exams and a final, 4 short essays(easy) and a term paper.he gives study guides that are exactly like the exam.Almost impossible to fail this class and he is one of the most caring professors i have had at OU.I recommend this class for a gpa boost and good experience

Hey is the man! No need for a text book really, just go to his lectures and he qill go over test questions during the class. Most of the questions come straight from the study guide. Definately one of the easiesnt and most helpful professors out there. Hes kinda older, so sometimes needs help during class.

Very boring but besides that a good professor. The text is never used. Make sure that you go to the review the class before the exams. He tells you everything that will be on the exams. Ended up with a 3.8

This course was pretty interesting. His exams come word for word from his review session and exam study guide. Bring a tape recorder the day before the exam because he reads many of the actual exam questions during his review session. He offers extra credit throughout the semester, and posts his lecture notes on Moodle. 4.0 is definitely doable.

Very nice professor. He is open to questions and responsive to emails. However, his tests are complete jokes. They come right from the study guides and he goes over many test questions in class before the test. His lectures can get boring, but I still liked learning it. Yet, I probably didn't retain anything.

BIO 300. REALLY NICE GUY, SORTA DULL AT TIMES, BUT ITS A HARD SUBJECT TO MAKE INTERESTING. THREE MINI PAPERS AND A TERM PAPER, HE ALLOWS YOU TO TURN IN A DRAFT, AND GIVES EXTRA CREDIT OPPURTUNITIES. NICE GUY, GIVES REVIEW SHEETS AND HAS REVIEW SESSIONS. TESTS ARE THE REVIEW SHEET TO A T.

Awesome professor; makes it extremely easy for you to succeed but you have to take the notes and know the study guide. Clampitt explains everything really well, even if the material gets boring. He really cares about his students though, and is always willing to help.

This class is soo boring but very easy. If you do the study guides for the test completely and know everything on them you will get a 4.0. The actual class makes you fall asleep but the notes are where the questions come for so you have to go to class. Some questions aren't in the book so without the notes your screwed.

TAKE HIM :) he is a very nice guy. He gives you study guides, if you completely do them and study them there is no way you will get under an A..Also bring a recorder the class before exam put it by him, he goes over a lot of the questions and their choices on the exam..study the study guide and i will assure you, you will pass : )

Hes a great guy, but way too boring to be teaching an 8am. He keeps to the syllabus perfectly. Read the assigned chapters, take notes and grab teh review sheets the class before a test. I never went to class and walked out w/ a 3.7. Good guy, just incessantly boring lectures.

Prof. Clampitt is a very nice guy and very helpful. To do well in this class, you need to do the test review sheet he gives a few weeks before every test and make sure you go to his office after his review session to get extra help. Go to lecture as often as possible because he gives good notes and important information during them.

This professor was very average! All the tests questions are given to you beforehand and in the reviews session he reads most of the test out loud. Bring a recorder! Answer the questions and you should be fine on the test. The investigations he gives you are a piece of cake. I did them all 20 mins before class and got perfects. Easy NOT intersting!

Dry, monotonous, talks like the host on "Unsolved Mysteries." Review sessons are meaningless; he simply reads his study guide. You learn nothing from taking the tests because you can't keep the tests nor does he allow enough time to copy what you did wrong. I didn't get the idea that he was particularly knowledgable about the topic.

Showed up to less than half the classes. 13 videos, 6 multi choice questions and some tests. Studied the night before for all of them and got a 3.4. Never ever touched the textbook, and barely read my notes. David Attenborogh films are awesome in the class! Dead easy class if you need a gen-ed.
