a lot of discussion, but when he lectures, he does it without notes!!! He has a huge vocabulary, knows tons of stuff about everything. I learned so much in this class, but he makes you think and work.

He loves to teach German to his students.You learn to read, write, and speak German. You also learn about German culture. Buying the book is a must have because he uses the book each class. Tests are not that bad because you can retake them. He wants all his students to understand the language.

Innocence and the Experience. 5 short papers that you're able to rewrite until you get an A. Classes are purely discussion and he seems like an intelligent man, nice guy as well. If you don't get an A in his class than you are a moron.

Describe a teacher who really enjoys showing you how interested and how important African Literature is and you have Professor Ourand. He's extremely cultured and educated in areas that I couldn't believe until I listened to him. He's also very witty and fun. The class was something I didn't expect

Extremely high energy and engaging professor. Brilliant mind and very engaging. Personable and friendly, he's at his best teaching small groups. He's very approachable, and will work with you. He's a great professor.

African studies. Very easy. A few short papers no tests. an easy class but he is a weird grader
