To put it simply this class was bad, really bad. The professor just throws assignments at you with no interaction at all, and on top of that she's super picky with grading. Find a different professor

There isn't any lectures nor communication between her and her classes. Expects you to produce Perfect work and if your margins are off slightly your grade gets drastically hurt. Online University is the worst with her and expects so much from you yet she doesn't put any effort from her part. I am disappointed I thought she would be better. AVOID

I'm only midway through Litke's fully online 320 class and I am here to say pick a different option. This class is absolutely awful, it has no soul, no engaging material and overall just feels like a massive waste of time. I took her based on her high rating but I see that she doesn't live up to them in this online class. Very disappointing.

Dr. Litke makes me want to change my major to Coms! She's amazing. Interesting lectures, totally organized, clear on grading & expectations. There are a few writing assignments but they are reasonable. She gives study guides for the exams so the only way to not pass is to not study. I would 10/10 recommend. Just show up and do your work! A++

Gotta love Dr. Litke! Very nice and respectable professor! Class wasnt too hard but you do need to study for her tests. The notes that you take during her lectures are the most helpful if you dont like reading the book. Would advise that you ask her any questions after lecture, as she is always there to help. Good experience overall

Rebecca Litke is a very sweet professor. Really knows how to relate her own experiences into the course material. She is pretty old-fashioned though, no laptops for taking notes and she has no powerpoints, so I wouldn't recommend taking her if you don't like that. Other than that, very constructive and informative.

Really cares about the work and the students. The syllabus was clear and well organized. There were no surprises. She would identify important information in lectures that would be on the test and gave comprehensive study guides before each test. Lectures were entertaining, participatory and informative. Feedback on papers was constructive.

I really hope Professor Litke reads this so she can improve her teaching, but for those of you that are planning on taking her, be prepared for heavy lectures. She doesn't interact with the class, and talks a million miles an hour. I was seriously bored to tears. Easy class though.

I've had this professor previously &am taking a couple classes with her currently. There is a reason why Im taking her for the second and third time! She is incredibly kind and it is evident that she cares about her students. Her classes are very straight forward and there are no surprises. She is very organized & her lectures are very interesting!

Took her class over the winter. She is very straight forward and expectations are always clear. I really appreciate that in a professor. Also, she was very good about teaching the material without pushing her own agenda. I definitely recommend her and this class.

This professor is my favorite at CSUN! I took her over winter for the first time and was surprised at how organized her class was. Everything went according to plan and she was clear on the material and what she expected. She wasn't a rough grader, either, and worked with you, like a peer would. Awesome class.

Litke is super nice and genuinely cares about her students. She definitely takes her time grading your work in order to help you improve, but she is not a tough grader. She also hands out study guides for what is going to be on each test. She is a very friendly professor!

Took this professor twice. Overall, easy class if you attend and study for exams. No intensive papers or group projects. Must take good notes and remember material in order to do well on tests. LOTS of material expected to be remembered for exams but she gives study guides. What she lectures is almost exactly what's on the tests

Professor Litke is great and really has a passion for this subject! The class is interesting, but can feel a bit long because there's so much information. 3 essays and 3 exams that are not cumulative. She is there to help and will wherever she can. Definitely take her and take this class if you need it.

I took this prof. based off good reviews on this site, only to be sadly disappointed. She's a boring lecturer & rambles often, her tests are unnecessarily hard, and she's a strict grader. This is such an interesting subject and she teaches it in such a boring way. Avoid if you can..

WOW what a great class! Would I say it's easy? No.. But I would still take it again. This might be the first time I ever learned something in college. 3 hours flies by! I would take this as an elective or a coms major. Tests are pretty hard but the class is so interesting, who cares... 5 stars in my book.
