Both classes are a complete waste of time if you are in any way familiar with programming. CS73 is Mr. Penaflor's personal soap box. It's unfortunate the class in mandatory for any real programming classes.

Professor Penaflor is extremely patient, particularly with the slowest students, and therefore probably frustrates your "know-it-all" real computer Geeks that take these classes. I'm very grateful that Professor "P" waits for ALL students.

Dr. Penaflor practically spoon feeds you with the material. His classes are not challenging and therefore, bore me to death. Though I'm majoring in Computer Science and have taken programming classes in the past, I didn't learn anything new from his classes.

Doesn't actually teach. Brags about his own abilities,and tells students that he will get them computer jobs to make them like him. Generally, uneducated students like him, educated students do not. You learn nothing from him but you'll get an A.
