Exams are open notes and book. There is an excel assigment which is done the end of the semester and it does not count toward the final grade.

There is not much to it. It is statistics and it is very boring. On the up side, there is no homework due, maybe one assignment for the whole semester. 2-3 tests that are all open note. Just study and make sure you show up to class and write down everything he does. He gives a practice test that is almost identical the real test.

Not a good professor, does not respond to student emails, he does not seem to care about student's success, also he did not give course evaluations too!

This class could not be any more boring, especially for an 8am. Granted Bob Crouse is very kind, his lectures are extremely dull. There are 3 exams, all open book, open note with practice exams given that are nearly identical to your exam. He also drops the lowest exam grade. You just need to understand how to do the problems to pass this class.

Will bore the living daylights out of you, but SO EASY to pass with flying colors. Does guided examples on the board. Exams are open-book/note, and he gives practice exams that are similar to real exam. A few mandatory ungraded Excel assignments that are easy. Go to class, study, do the recommended problems and practice exams, and you're golden!

A few tests and a final are what you grade consists of. Basically all of class was copying what he wrote on the board. Very little engagement with the class, and very boring. He gives a study guide for each test, and it's highly recommended that you do it, as it's similar to the test.

3 tests and a final .. all open note. He also gives a practice test before each exam that is almost identical to the test. He is very quiet but he goes over everything 2 or 3 times before moving on. He also seems to curve every test. Just go to class, pay attention, do all the homework assignments and you'll do fine.

Professor Crouse is a very dry lecturer. He gives good notes but hes very quiet and boring. The entire grade in this class is based on 3 midterms (20% ea) and a final (40%). All exams are open note and straightforward so its easy to pass. Take him if you just want to pass and don't care about learning the material.

Welcome to stat 201, after this you are most likely done with your college stat career. No partial credit and exams are multiple choice open book. One exam grade gets dropped. final exam worth 40% of grade. Does weird curves on exams but I am not complaining since that curved me to the A category.

I took him because I thought it would be an easy A and I would learn a thing or too. But damn was he just so quiet in class and doesn't even know how to help his students out. No extra credit or extra help, if there is any all he does is make it basic as heck and confuses you more. If you're good in stats then take him. Otherwise don't bother.

I took this class previously with another professor I had to withdraw b/c i was failing. Then next semester I took STAT 201 with Crouse and I got an A. I think he's one of the best STAT professors on campus, along with S. Lasik. Stay away from Darius D. This guy gives many guided examples to practice in class. It would be hard to fail this class.

Very dry and reserved. Lectures almost the whole time, little chance for student questions/interaction. Material can be hard, but open note/book tests are super easy, just take notes on everything he says in class and study the handouts. Grade based on 2-3 tests and cumulative final, also some mandatory ungraded Excel assignments.

The class consists of 4 tests including the final. If you go to class and copy down all of the notes he takes YOU WILL PASS. THE TESTS ARE OPEN BOOK, OPEN NOTE. Oh my gosh, I don't get how people don't like this class, it's way too easy.

His lectures are so boring, people literally fall asleep in his class. If you really want to learn do not take his class... If you are not a good exam taker, definitely do not take the class. No graded assignments given... You will be required to do some problems in excel that are not graded but if you don't do it you will get an incomplete.

Highly recommend him for ppl who want to just pass without actually learning the material (which is most college students). This class is EASY to pass with an A because every test is open notes AND open book. He also gives study guides with answers that are exactly like the test just with different numbers. EASY A!

He is so unclear and just stares at the board the whole class. He doesn't explain anything and half the time students are correcting his work. He does do open notebook tests but if you don't understand what you're doing or what you're notes say it's no help. Also HE DOES NOT GIVE ANY MAKEUP EXAMS.

No homework. All exams and final are open notes. Study the practice exams and take good note, and you will pass. Drops the lowest exam, but he is a tough grader. If you get the wrong answer, but did the work correctly, it's still wrong. There are no partial credit so double check your work. Other than that, he is an easy and good professor.

Open notes and open book for all tests & curves the tests, but don't let that fool you. If you ask him a question, he gets overwhelmed and 910 times wont answer your question. Refuses to go back and fix exams if he made a mistake with the grade. Does not turn away from the board. Nice guy, but shouldn't be teaching college statistics classes.
