I highly recommend Professor Hall! He's very kind and is very helpful with the homeworks. Having a textbook for this class is important so get one!! Don't be afraid to ask questions because he is always willing to help! Your course grade depends only on your tests, so it's important to actually do the homework so you'll do good on the tests!

The man is a MATH GOD!!! I took him during the summer time, and the class was tough but well worth it. My suggestion is record his lectures, do the homework, do the review, and take the opportunity to review you exam results. If you have questions, ask. He will explain them to you in great detail. TAKE HIM, you will not regret it!

Mr. Hall is a good teacher. He will always help if you ask. he gives a lot of homework but it makes for some really good practice. He is very picky on grading and will count off for every little thing. over all good experience with him. He made calculus easy, or at least not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

He's alright. He's slow on finishing lectures sometimes. The fact that he takes points off for any little thing is highly irritating. If I got the answer, I obviously know the formula. Missed class 6 times and passed with a B because I did my online homework! Write down his examples, study PowerPoint notes on mylabsplus & DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Comment:

You just come to class and listen to him lecture then you just do your homework. His tests are sorta hard because he requires you to put the formula or he will count off points but he will supply a formula chart during a test. The final is comprehensive. This is not a class that you can study last minute and make a B or a A. Hes a nice teacher.

Even though he's very meticulous, he's very confusing. His tests are awful. If you don't show ALL of your work, he takes off points. What would've been a 95 for me, turned out to be a 68. He's also very dry and hard to listen to for an hour and a half. I dreaded his class.

Mr. Hall is great at explaining Calculus, but... He rarely finishes the section for that day, but still gives homework, then spends the first half of next class answering questions from the parts left out. His tests are usually 15 questions, and unless you know how to work each problem instantly, you probably won't have time to finish.

I loved Mr. Hall's class! I had him for statistics and had heard horror stories about how hard it was. That was not the case in Mr. Hall's class, or maybe he just seriously made math easy to understand. He's easy to talk to if you need help and a great teacher!

Good teacher and very willing to help. Only problem is the personality. When he stops mid sentence as if you're going to finish it or when he says "is that right" all the time just makes me want to yell "yeeaah" like Dave Chappelle.

Amazing teacher! I took him for probability and statistics. I have never gotten an A in a math class before or enjoyed math, until his. He explains things step by step, and applies them to real world situations. He's so familiar with the text book, most of the time, he doesn't need it to discuss the math problem!

Never before have I met a math instructor quite like Mr. Hall. He is extremely patient and thorough. His character remains the same inside and outside of class. Math is not a strong subject for me. Mr. Hall makes it a bit more tolerable. That is saying alot. Highly recommended.

mr. hall is one of my fav. proffesors at AC. i took him for finite math. its kinda hard but he is a great teacher. very nice man. he always says "is that right" and stops halways in his sentence expecting you to finish it.. i swear i spent more time in his office gettin help from him than in his classroom. always willing to help you out
