Comment:

Dorn is AMAZING. The whole class is available from the start so you can work as fast as you want. The labs use video games to simulate being outside, so be prepared for that. Be willing to work and try and you should be fine. The class uses a pt system so what you earn goes towards a total while what you miss doesnt detract from the total. Worth It

I cant recommend Dorn enough. He has the whole class available from the start of the semester so the pace is all yours. Do the readings, watch the lectures and you'll be fine. You have plenty of chances to bring your grade up. He grades w a pt system where every pt gets added to a total but what you miss doesn't count against your grade.

GPH 111 and GPH 112 are usually taken together, very quiz heavy since it's online but honestly a really easy class. Coming from someone that waited until the last 2 weeks to do every assignment, it's stressful but I still got an A in both classes. (don't recommend it) Grades are based on the points system so after you're at an A, you're done.

Comment:

Dorn seems like a nice human, really passionate and knowledgeable about geomorphology. I liked the grade accumulation strategy. I will say though, you will have to work for it. 1 lab with 6 questions can take an hour or more just to earn 1 point. Class is self-paced, but set aside A LOT of time to complete. The games in GPH 112 were pretty cool.

Professor Dorn truly cares for the well being and success of his students. He makes every effort to help his students. This is the definition of an easy A, although, not particularly exciting material.

Although Professor Dorn seems like a very nice man and is very passionate about what he teaches, I do not recommend taking these classes, especially the GPH 112. There are many assignments that could take you at least an hour to do and then you only end up getting 0.5 out of 2.5 points because the instructions and questions are very unclear.

THE SWEETEST PROF EVER!!! He is extremely knowledgable and passionate. His lectures are super funny and informative. I wish all professors were like him. The only downside (for me) was that he allows you to go at your own pace so I needed to be super disciplined to stay on track. Take this class! You won't regret it.

Easiest class I have ever taken! Professor Dorn is amazing. This class is solely graded on watching a couple movies, lectures for each movie, reading a few sources, and taking quizzes for each movie. The best part is the scavenger hunts. There are google earth locations you virtually visit for locations in the movies. Got a 100%. Take this course!

Professor Dorn is awesome. His lectures can be long, but he teaches with such a passion for Geomorphology. I have never taken a class like this before, but he made me very. interested in the material. He truly cares about his students and loves to hear from you! Email him a photo of you next to a landform and he will go crazy. Take this class!

SUCH A COOL CLASS! I would recommend anyone to take this! So fun. I am a huge procrastinator and did a lot of last minute work but finished the class with an A+ The material was so cool to learn & I loved seeing familiar (+new) movies in the context of urban planning. Made me interested in the subject as a minor! Dorn is great. Make the most of it.

PUP 200 is the 3rd course I have taken with Prof. Dorn because he is amazing!! His grading scale is points accumulation and there is PLENTY of point opportunities for you to get an A. You watch a movie (most are very great), complete short readings, a lecture, and take a quiz. This class is totally worth it, I wish all my profs were like Dorn!!

This is the easiest class I've ever taken. I 100% recommend for everyone to take this class for an easy A+. This class is all quizzes and they are all on course hero. There is also lots of extra credit scavenger hunts that are incredibly easy and also kinda fun.

I took professor Dorn's US and AZ Social Studies class session A. It is a self-paced class that I started and finished the class in ONE DAY. The class is graded by point accumulation. Need 160 out of 270 available for A+. Quizzes range from 4-10 questions that are common sense or easily found on google. Easiest A+ of my life. TAKE IT!!!!!!

I took professor Dorn's Cities in Cinema class session b. It is a point-based class and you need to obtain 175 points out of something like 215 points available for an A+. It is very easy to do. Just watch the movie, watch faculty prez (double speed), "command f" required readings and you'll get 100% on each module. Self-paced class EASY A+!!!!

This is the easiest class. You watch around 12 movies, you can read and watch some faculty lectures, and it's not that bad. The movies are somewhat outdated and you do have to rent them, but it's worth it. The quizzes are around 14 points, and if you watched and paid attention, you'd pass. It's a point-based class, he's a cool dude overall.
