I read the warnings- I ignored them. What a mistake! Seriously wouldnt take this professor again if someone paid me to. She treats this class like its the only class youre taking and her grading is completely subjective. 100 page readings over break. I guess if you have a passion for 17th century French fiction you might find it more useful.

She was really sweet, funny, and caring, but I wouldn't take her again. Homework was mostly really easy textbook work, but she assigned a lot of it every night. Upwards of 100-something questions on some nights. She moves fast, too.

Took this professor for an online literature class (requirement). Incredibly hard, condescending, and rude in her comments. Gave SO much work each week and expected more from students than possible. Grades very hard, and if she disagrees with your writing she will simply deduct points. Would never take agin.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! She is so rude, grades really hard and requires you to do an outrageous amount of work to the point I had to work with my friend but little FYI do not work with a friend got me in huge trouble she thought we cheated when we worked together. She is impossible and attacks her students. She attacked me the entire semester!

I took a women in the French novel class online and found that the reading material and work load wasnt too bad but definitely required time every week. She took a lot of points off essays that would have gotten me an A+ in other courses. Not too bad but not an easy A!!

Took her online course. Very rude & condescending. Demands a lot of work. I'm an honors student and worked very hard on my essays and found that should would take points off if she didn't agree with you. Unless this class is mandatory I highly recommend you select something different. Choice of literature was interesting though.

She's kind of an odd woman. I wasn't thrilled with her teaching techniques. I think the only reason I did o.k. was because I took French already through high school so I knew what was going on. Other than that, I would advise taking someone else if possible.

Absolutely hated her and so did pretty much everyone in our class. She is extremely rude and gives you scary looks. Always seems like she's judging you. Also lots of hw and reading and, like someone else said, she expects you to act like the class is the only one you're taking!

She gives a lot of homework, but besides that she is very easy, outgoing & fun. She can get a bit personal too, asking questions about love life, drinking etcetera. As long as you do all the homework you'll be fine, she's really fun to have. She takes attendance but allows two absences. She also doesn't cancel class, only for Jewish holidays. EasyA

Although Ohayon is rather scary, with 10 second stares after you say something she disagrees with, stick with it. If you how why you think this way, and go face to face with her, she'll give you respect. There is a lot of work in this class though.

I added her class during ADD/DROP with five other students, and since we weren't on her "original" list, she told us we had to drop her class. We had only missed ONE day of classes! And she kicked us out the day after add-drop ended. Horrible
