I hope you like wasting three hours every class. Every single meeting he went to 8:20. A horrible professor overall, he constantly rambles about TSLA. In just one class he spent over an hour showing us videos from the Tesla youtube channel. The class is 75% graded on tests and the rest is easy assignments in class. You can skip and do well.

The tests are NOTHING like the study guides or lectures. Avoid him at all costs. He does not actually teach anything. If you want to learn something take someone else. He is also very boring. If you ask him questions via email he does not explain it clearly.

Whoever on here said he lets you use notes and google for your tests isnt true. This was the worst class Ive ever taken at UNI please try to take a different professor. The tests are extremely hard and he doesnt teach you anything. This class ruined my gpa this semester and I regret taking it from him.

Shashi is an interesting guy. His lectures are kind of boring, and he talks about his Tesla a lot. The class is super easy, and his examples and in class assignments are easy. His exams are somewhat difficult, depending on how much you study. At first it's difficult to understand him, but after a week it gets better.

He rambles on a lot and is not clear in what he is trying to say. His tests are hard and no one seems to do very well on them. Not very clear in going over the material. Expects you to know useless info word for word on the tests sometimes.

His lectures are very boring and he likes to ramble on most of the time, but there aren't too many in class lectures. Most of the time is just spent doing in class activities in which you can leave after you finish it. Tests are kind of hard, its easier if you read the book to learn the terms because his lectures aren't totally clear.

He doesn't let you use google or notes on tests. IDK who thought that but do not listen to it. You have to teach yourself almost all of the material and the lectures are very boring. I probably wouldn't take him again, but there are defiantly worse professors out there.

Was offered as night class only. Let out once teaching and homework for the night were complete. Homework was directly from what you learn the night of. Two exams worth half your grade, but are open note open book open excel. Easy class as long as you follow along with him. Ask about his skydiving video and Tesla

This class was really enjoyable, even as a night class. Half the time was spent on teaching the new concept and the other half was spent applying the concept on a hmwk assignment. I feel like I was learning and Shashi was very helpful! I enjoyed him as a professor. He is friendly and fun.

I really enjoyed Shashi's class. He does a lot of hands on exercises so it's in your best interest to not skip. His exams are tough and most of what is on the exam has to be self taught from the textbook. But he is easily accessible and will explain what you don't understand, which is very helpful.

Big Data was super easy. As long as you show up and follow along in class you should do fine. He answers any question you might have. We did have one midterm which was take home that was more difficult than in class ones

Comment:

Shashi genuinely cares about the success of his students. He has a great sense of humor, and he almost always has a smile on his face. I took a night class with him, and I'm taking Big Data with him next semester. Textbook isn't necessary for his Analytics class. Lets you use book, notes, and homework on tests. Definitely understands SCM very well.

Only 2 tests for whole semester. Took as a night class and have an exercise to do each night on your own or with a group. He types notes and goes through an example of the problem right before he hands out the assignment. Has a lot of excel work. I thought it was a fairly easy class compared to others I had to take.

The lectures were super boring. However, during his tests he allows us to use whatever we want, including google. Just simply copy and paste the question and it'll show up on quiz let. You will want to take this class especially given the difficulty of the business core.

This guy was funny. He has a very dry sense of humor. There was a lot of development in his class so a lot of the time he really was not lecturing always helpful, very bright professor
