Dr. Litvin is hands down one of the best professors I have had in my 3.5 years at CofC. He wants all of his students to succeed, and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure his students understand the content. He also tells a lot of funny jokes. If I weren't a second semester senior, & he taught more classes, I would 100% take him again!

Professor Litvin definitely means well and he is very nice but this class is WAY too hard for a 200 level. I have taken 400 level classes easier than his. The workload is heavy and he is a tough grader on assignments. You will do good in the class but you HAVE to put in the work, not an easy class at all. You have to FIGHT for an A.

Professor Litvin is one of the kindest people I have ever met!! He is more than willing to go out of his way to help you not only as a professor but as an advisor as well! If you are a hospitality major you MUST take his class and I would suggest taking any class of his because he is just so sweet! His class was always the highlight of my day!

Professor Litvin is an amazing teacher! He does not teach from the textbook, but you still have to read it. If you are not a strong reader, beware. I am not a strong reader but the class was super fun and the mini field trips and guest speakers and extra credit made the reading worth it! Also hands out notes to help follow along in lectures.

This professor is an amazing and super fun and engaging teacher. He really cares about each and every student and shows a clear love for the subject. His exams are a bit hard but he offers papers to bring up your grade and extra credit assignments at the end that brings your grade up a lot.

If you have anything bad to say about this man then you DO NOT know him!!!! Could not be more caring. Plenty of professors at this school only show up for the paycheck. This is the opposite of how he feels about his career/students. Dr. Litvin for president!

The tests are based off mainly lectures and guest speakers. Easy essay's are required every few weeks.. but they're only 1 pages or 2 at most. Take notes on his lectures packets and study his study guides and you should get an A or B

Litvin is so sweet & so caring! You can tell from day one that he has such a passion for Hospitality & he brings in so many guest speakers which is really awesome because you see how broad HTMT careers can be. His class is pretty simple & if you do what he asks, you'll be just fine. Attendance doesn't really matter but you won't wanna skip class!

Awesome guest speakers Tricky and confusing tests Textbook is so outdated and boring Lots of reading, lots of essay/projects, be ready to work in this class Likes when you participate and likes to tease and pick on people Not very helpful when you ask questions especially outside of class Find a good partner in class to study with.

Litvin is loved by most everyone but I found him to be very full of himself. He thinks that everything he has accomplished is the most important thing in the world. Interesting class but be prepared to hear stories about himself the entire semester and at least every class.
