Professor spencer was the best Math teacher ever. He takes time to go over the material so much that it is redundant. He is amazing. I passed his class with flying colors! I wish he was teaching all the other math classes I have to take! Seriously, take his classes! He's such a sweet teacher!

Comment:

Professor Spencer is one of the best math teachers at Chaffey College. Truly cares about students, wiling to answer any questions, and provides a clear review for the tests. Tests are easy and contain material from the lectures, as long as you study you should do fine.

Great teacher! Show up, buy textbook, do all pages of homework because they count for most of the grade, then past the test at the end of each chapter. That is the basic blue print of getting an A.

Comment:

Mr. Spencer had a new way of handling homework (for me) and it greatly increased my success in Math. Before class started he'd ask for any homework questions and he'd go through every one and offer help. He gave us practical applications for the homework we did. I was sad he wasn't teaching 425.

Comment:

A ton of homework followed by 4 exams and the final exam but was all worth it. I can agree with other students that he does mess up sometimes but he'll end up correcting himself once he finds his mistake. He's very nice and gives you the opportunity to turn in any late homework the day of the final. Do your homework and study for each exam!!

Prof. Spencer was a good teacher that I recommend. He goes over the key areas to focus in on for studying prior to every exam and for all the exams had practice exams that reviewed the key points of the upcoming exam; for the final he even let us have 1 3x5 notecard to help with the formulas which was very helpful. He was a good Prof!

Mr. Spencer is a great professor! You are assigned Homework everyday and he gives you 2pts per homework assignment so make sure to do your homework, and believe me it really does help. He cares about all of his students. His exams are not hard at all (if you do the homework). He also stays after class to answer any questions you might have.

Professor Spencer is an amazing teacher, he boosted up my confidence in math. He is always on time and stays later to answer any questions if you need help. He taught me in a way that I understood how to go about a problem. Always stay on top of H.W because you will learn from it. He is fair and really nice and I wish I could take him for Math 425

Really nice guy! Easy class to take if you understand math. He gives you a list of the homework on the first day. When he's done with lecture he normally lets everyone out early. Overall enjoyed his class.

Super easy teacher and easy class. He will go over problems as many times as you need. He will also make sure you get plenty of opportunities to make up test. I highly recommend taking him. Do all your hw and you are sure to at least get a C in the class. Pass your test and you get a B.

This teacher gets bored of his own lectures. He confuses himself when trying to show work on the board, and jumbles all of the problems together! His class just drags on and on, I honestly DREAD going to that one class out of the WHOLE day!

Comment:

Mr. Spencer was very very nice and is not hard. He allows you to make up homework and helps with work if you do not understand. I wish he was teaching 520 because I would take him again!!
