AMAZING TEACHER!! Class was so fun and he would defiantly give easy bonuses and extra credit to help out students if they were falling a bit behind. He is such an awesome teacher and knows his crap. Take him you won't regret it. Homework is optional, only grades are tests, quizzes, and Extra Credit

Hard class but Swope is very helpful answers all your questions. He is avaible outside of class for help and response to emails promptly. Is very sarcastic but makes class go by fast and is enjoyable. Its a hard class but one a enjoy.

awesome teacher... hes really helpful plus hes funny... homework is not collected but you will do better in the class if you do it... the class is hard so learn the material well... doesnt try and trick you on test just know what your doing, but the class is REALLY HARD...

I've never been good at math, but taking College Algebra with Swope was one of the best experiences I've had with a professor so far. He's very knowledgable, and his style of teaching makes it easy to understand. He's willing to work with you as long as you ask for help. Great teacher!

i havent ever struggled in math but i found this class very difficult. that being said mr swope is a wonderful teacher. he offers as much help as you will take and doesnt try to trick you. he is very effective at teaching, the subject was just very difficult for me

Favorite teacher at SEMO so far! Sarcastic sense of humor, very funny! Doesn't collect alot of homework. Always answers questions and will meet with you if you need extra help! Study guides for every test! Made an A!

Mr. Swope is a great professor!!! His explanations are very thorough, and he gives plenty of examples. Besides being a great teacher, he's very funny if you like dry, sarcastic humor. This was the only math class I need, but I may take another class with him as an elective later.

Everybody raves about this teacher, but I don't see why! He's not that great of a teacher. In our class, we had 3 tests in 3 weeks, which is just not enough time to study. I also hated going to class. I worked my butt off for a B.

He is a good teacher, but isn't as great as I expected. The material is kind of hard if you aren't good at math... for the first part of the semester it is really easy but after midterms it gets pretty hard... Make sure you study for the tests and you'll do fine..
