I took Dr. B for Comp 1&2. Best teacher ever!!! Her topics are very interesting and there are only about 3 papers to write. She is very understanding of the college way of life and will work with you. She teaches you edit and write through multiple drafts. Very easy.

I had Dr. Boerckel for Dual Enrollment. I didnt know what to expect since this was my first college course. She was beyond AMAZING! I would highly recommend her to anyone. Her work was not too difficult, but it did require some thinking ;) I could always expect to get a laugh out of her class, she is quite the character to say the least!

What can I say?! I LOVE Dr. Boerckel! I had a bad experience with ENC 1102 before at IRCC, But Dr. Boerckel was all smiles. She showed me how to improve a paper, and actually sat and talked with me regarding my work. A WONDERFUL teacher!

i really like her but i don't think she likes me! she isn't big on structuring your papers; she just wants to know what you THINK! she's great. i'm taking her for comp2! 4 papers a semester, get to re-do all papers at the end of the semester if you don't like your grade, for a new grade! i failed comp1 last year. trust me, take boerckel!
