Assigns but does not collect homework. Doesn't seem to want to teach. Why did I pay for this? I could have done it on my own for free. No classes, no zoom, nothing. Only thing you have to do on time is tests. I have no idea why she is allowed and paid to "teach" when she's not actually doing anything.

This was my second time having her as my teacher. I knew she uses the book and if you read the material and do the homework she assigns you should get a good grade. She made herself available if you didn't understand something as well as gave plenty of time to take the tests.

Mrs. Lagorda comes off to some as strict. She really is a nice lady. She expects you to do the work. There is no extra credit. The hw isn't required but you would be stupid not to do it it helps alot. She answers all your questions. Reviews everything on the test the class prior. Show up participate it makes it easier. I learned a lot from her.

Comment:

Great teacher, very nice. She explains it well and gives you a lot of time before each test to study. She is very generous with attendance so no need to stress about that. She makes the exams simple and uses the easiest examples just to see if you know what was learned in class. Nothing unnecessary/difficult.

Comment:

I'm not great at accounting, but this professor made it semi-easy. She provided a lot of material in order to prepare for tests. There were no quizzes, just 5, 100 point tests, which were 70% of the grade, as well as 1 project that was worth 30%. Once you get the hang of what she's looking for on tests, it's not all that bad. Study before tests.

Worst professor I ever had... makes everything seem so complicated, and is terrible at explaining things. The only grades are 4 tests, and a final exam.. which are all very difficult... avoid at all cost, professor Benner is 1000 times better and teaches the same course.

Took online here over the summer because the teachers at my school had awful reviews. It was 10 weeks at 1-2 chapters of reading and hw a week (optional but necessary), 5 tests, and one big final project. Email her with questions and she is more than happy to help!! Excellent professor who I would gladly take again if I had to!

Very nice although her notes can be hard to follow. Homework is optional which is nice. Just need to do well on the test and she tells you what you need to know. Just study hard for the tests and you will have no problem.

Her online class is great, organized, straightforward, clear. One of the best professors at LCCC for online courses. The tests are only challenging if you decide not to do the work. In an online class you really have to work for the grade.

She is simple enough. The class is online. She assigns the chapters, you read them. She gives the exact exercises to practice at the end of the chapter. DO THEM. Then do them again before the test. She gives you the correct answers to check yourself. Its accounting..read, study, do, read, study, do. You'll be fine with her

She's knows her stuff. He is well organized and doesnt mess around. Her tests are based more on the theory end of accounting. The tests are 50 questions. Multiple choice and true and false.She gives only 4 tests and the final but as long as you pay attention and read the chapters you'll do just fine. She's not easy, so you will have to study.

I took principles of accounting I (online)last semester and I am taking accounting II now (online). She is a great teacher. Very helpful. Answers emails quickly. Wants her students to do well. She isn't really a hard teacher, accounting is just a tough subject. If you read the book and do the homework she assigns, you should do fine.

Mrs. Logorda is an excellent professor! She expects you to attend class.Tests are multilpe choice. No surprises either. She teaches 100% out of the book.I highly recommend her for ACC 160!
